RUNWAY EXPERIENCE – A 3-Days Modeling Course

It is a 2-days intensive training course on basic modelling which will culminate in a modeling performance in front of a ‘live’ audience on the 3rd day.

Course Content consists of :
1) Improving posture, 2) Deportment, 3) Poise, 4) Style, 5) Posing, 6) Walk, 7) Turns, 8) Expressions, 9) Music & Rhythm, 10) Choreography.

The Appeal of a Respectable Beauty Queen

The crown on the head of a Beauty Queen should not be worn as a frivolous ornament. It is a symbol of honor that has to be earned or bestowed justifiably and rightfully. Traditionally, in all national and international Beauty Pageants, only the overall title winner is worthy or privileged to wear the crown.

THE FLAIR FOR MODELING – Another “FEELING BLESSED” Programme by Maggie Loo

Good News ! Maggie Loo will be conducting another FREE Coaching session, this time, with the focus on, “The Flair for Modeling”

Modeling, to many people whether females or males, is a dream job or career path which will lead to fame and fortune. Generally, people are attracted to becoming models because of the projected lifestyle image of sophistication, glamour, affluence and admiration.

The “flair” for Modeling is not a given, some may have it naturally, but for others, it can be developed. In order to acquire the “flair”, one needs to learn the craft and techniques to gain the attributes of being a model.

Irrespective of pursuing it as a career, learning modeling has its advantages, as it will help improve one’s poise and deportment, build self-confidence, develop good character, competency and professionalism. Modeling is very competitive and demanding, and in order to stay relevant, a model has to be well disciplined, committed, show good attitude and always give the best efforts.

During the personalised session, Maggie Loo will explain that modeling is more than just catwalk and fashion shows. She will share and show the ways of developing the “flair” which will involve acquiring the proper skills and projecting the right looks, moves, expressions and style of a model.

How can one get involved in this workshop ?
1) This is not an open contest but rather a generous gesture offered by Maggie Loo.

Our professional team is led by Maggie Loo herself as the principal coach who will oversee the entire works from conducting training on the Art of Posing and Expression, to advising on fashion styling and to coordinating with other associated professionals such as the Make-Up Artist, the Hair-stylist and the Photographer.

How we approach the undertaking
Preparation is crucial, in order, to achieve a desired positive outcome. The photography will be carried out in a controlled environment with proper backdrop setting and lighting installations. Besides this, it will involve setting the subjects in the right frame of mind so as to help bring out their potential and allow them to express themselves to project the desired images and create lasting impressions of themselves for remembrance and reflection.

Before the photo-shoot session, participants will undergo a full-day training workshop to improve their posture, poise and composure, learn the proper Art of Posing & Expression and try out working with props. Maggie Loo will also discuss with them on their selection of garments (from their own wardrobe) to wear during the photo-shoot and help them with the styling..

What we provide
For this undertaking, Maggie Loo Models & Beauties Academy will provide the following

1) Indoor Studio setting with professional equipment such as Lightings, Cameras & Backdrops
2) Experienced Professional Photographer
3) One (1) day Training Workshop on Posture, Poise & Composure, Art of Posing & Expression, Working with Props, Advise on Styling of garments
4) One (1) day Photo-Shoot which will include Make-Up and Hair-styling
5) Each participant will have 6 changes of garments for the entire shoot
6) Participants will each receive a Portfolio (album) consisting of 30–35 photos
