Scubazoo is thrilled to produce the upcoming short film titled "Guardians of the Wild - Wildlife Rescue Unit" that was filmed in two stunning locations, the Kinabatangan River, and the Borneo Elephant Sanctuary (BES) in Sandakan, Sabah.

This short film will showcase the Wildlife Rescue Unit's consistent commitment and dedication to protecting Sabah's invaluable wildlife, made possible by the support of the Malaysian Palm Oil Green Conservation Foundation (MPOGCF).

2025 started with our annual Scubazoo celebration, this year we managed to squeeze it in before we get too crazy busy!

The Scubazoo team is one big family and so we decided to visit some of the places various productions took place in 2024, therefore family members could experience a little of the wildlife experience. Everybody worked so hard in 2024 so this was a much needed break.

Huge thanks to Labuk Bay, Osman Hmsty - amazing time and BBQ, Sylvia Alsisto for the visit to BES, Sepilok Orangutan rehabilitation centre Borneo and of course Wong Siew Te for a great guided tour of Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC) and finally Sepilok Bnb.

In between the wildlife encounters there was plenty of food, drink and laughs, now its time to get organised for 2025! First productions happening very soon.
