Bowing this week at the LA Auto Show 2025 are two new concepts from Korean automaker Hyundai.

First comes the Hyundai Crater Concept. This rugged yet high-tech off-roader previews a new and more adventure-focused design direction that's set to inspire the look of the marque's next-gen wave of SUVs and crossovers.

Next comes the dramatically racy Genesis Magma GT Concept. This ones promises to bring the luxury sub-brand's new-found GT racing aspirations to the road and track.

Cable theft along KTMBโ€™s rail network has caused over 1,300 hours of delays this year, severely affecting KTM Komuter and ETS services. The disruptions stem from repeated attacks on critical signalling systems, leaving thousands of commuters stuck and slowing down rail operations nationwide.

Between Jan and Aug, 104 theft cases were reported, with Perak and Selangor topping the list. Other affected states include Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Pahang. No incidents were recorded in Perlis, Melaka, Johor or Kelantan.

Gemas to Johor Bahru train service is set to start in Dec as the electrified double track project nears completion. The 192 km line links Segamat, Kluang, Kulai, and Johor Baru, with full service offering 12 daily trips.

The electric train service has been rolled out in stages, starting March from KL to Segamat, extending to Kluang in August, and adding extra weekend trips from October.

We've been sitting on these photos snapped last month in Wuhu for a bit, and now we can finally share it.

This is the new Chery iCar V27 that just bowed at this week's Auto Guangzhou 2025 expo as the sub-brand's first range-extended EV (REEV) offering. Over 1,000 KM of combined petrol-electric range was touted for this mdoel too.

As a refresher, what's marketed as 'iCar' in China is also sold as the 'ICaur' brand in select overseas markets - ours included. This means we MIGHT see this REEV offering make landfall in future.

The first batch of ECRL trains are now ready in Dalian China, marking a key milestone for the project. This batch includes Electric Multiple Units for passengers and electric locomotives for freight.

The EMUs are painted in blue and white with designs inspired by ocean waves and local flora and fauna, reflecting the beauty of Malaysiaโ€™s East Coast. The freight locomotives are fitted with advanced monitoring systems that track operations in milliseconds, including braking, fire suppression, and isolating any faulty components.
