Hauliers Demand Swift WCE Land Fix

The Association of Malaysian Hauliers (AMH) is concerned about delays in finishing Section 3 of the West Coast Expressway (Banting to Klang and Shah Alam) due to unresolved land acquisition issues in Kampung Jawa.

This setback affects hauliers nationwide, as the stretch is crucial for reducing congestion, especially for trucks travelling to and from Port Klang.

Is a thing? Even if it isn't, we're certain you'd be chuffed to know that Porsche has updated its signature racecars.

Say hello to the updated Porsche 911 Cup one-make racecar, and the revised Porsche 911 GT3 R global GT3 competition car.

The newly renamed 911 Cup car was built primarily for the Porsche Carrera Cup and Supercup series. However, new changes underneath now lets it enter other championships thanks to its ability to adopt an air restrictor.

The new 911 GT3 R, on the other hand, sees Porsche imbue subtle tweaks all around that promises a sharper and more 'friendlier' machine to race with. Also tweaked subtly are this GT3 racer's aerodynamics.

Cheryโ€™s global sales momentum continued in July with 224,439 vehicles sold, up 14.7% year-on-year. NEV sales rose 44% to 65,357 units, while exports climbed nearly 32% to 119,090. Brazil recorded more than 6,000 units sold for the month, Australia about 3,000, and Malaysia over 2,600.

The automaker has also risen sharply in the Fortune Global 500 rankings to 233rd place and surpassed five million cumulative vehicle exports, supported by advances in hybrid and EV technology as well as high-profile safety testing across multiple continents.

BYD YangWang U9 Track Edition Specs Revealed โ€“ Up to 3,019 PS!

Think the 1,290 hp-rated BYD YangWang U9 is not extreme enough? Turns out BYD is working on a more potent version of its flagship EV hypercar, simply known as the YangWang U9 Track Edition.

Thanks to the filings to Chinaโ€™s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), weโ€™ve finally got some details about this mysterious, track-focused EV hypercar, including its new quad-motor setup with a combined output of up to 3,019 PS.

RTS2 Proposal Gains Support To Ease Tuas Congestion

Johorโ€™s proposed RTS2 Link between Tuas and Iskandar Puteri is gaining commuter support, with residents saying it could ease daily congestion and cut travel time for thousands in southwest Johor.

However, analysts pointed out the challenge of limited last-mile connectivity in both Tuas and Iskandar Puteri, and questioned whether passenger numbers would justify the construction costs.

GAC Malaysia (GAC Motor Malaysia) revealed award-winning actor and local celebrity Datuk Remy Ishak as its new brand ambassador last weekend.

The special announcement was made during a GAC and Aion brand showcase held in 1Utama Shopping Centre, PJ last weekend. Present here too was renowned mandarin radio jock Jack Lim - GAC Malaysia's first appointed brand ambassador.

Besides that, the showcase featured the upcoming GAC Emkoo C-SUV on show. With local assembly (CKD) commenced at TCMA Segambut, KL recently, the firm notes deliveries for the model will begin by end of Sept 2025 at the earliest.
