Good news for Proton eMAS 7 owners — the long-awaited Android Auto support has officially rolled out via OTA software update (Flyme Auto S v1.2.0). The update, which is being released in batches, brings both wired and wireless Android Auto, making everyday driving more connected and convenient.

But that’s not all. This latest update also introduces improved screen brightness adjustment, enhanced Bahasa Melayu optimisation, and other system refinements aimed at improving overall stability and user experience. Some users have even noticed subtle touches like sound feedback when switching driving modes.

With Apple CarPlay added earlier this year, Proton continues to show its commitment to improving the eMAS 7 through regular OTA updates — proving that early adopters are still very much part of the journey.
