Sijil Itu Tiket Masuk, Ilmu Yang Bawa Kita Jauh

Sambung sikit cerita pasal lesen ni, sebab bila topik AFC C dan UEFA C keluar, ramai terus pakat fikir soalan dan tertanya-tanya. Kalau macam gitu, patut ambil yang mana satu, UEFA ke FAM/AFC?

Jawapan saya senang je tapi seelum tu, saya tak melihat sesuatu isu secara ekstrem atau satu arah sahaja senang cerita lebih holistic supaya lebih sesuai dengan konteks dan juga bersifat lebih adil dari segi dua belah.

Dalam konteks coaching dan lesen, ia membawa maksud, saya tak percaya ada satu jawapan mutlak seperti, UEFA mesti lebih baik, FAM mesti lemah, Ambil ni salah, ambil tu betul. Sebaliknya, jawapan saya bergantung pada konteks, siapa coach itu, di mana dia coaching, tahap pengalaman dia, dan apa matlamat jangka pendek dan panjang. Ada situasi FAM lebih sesuai, ada situasi UEFA lebih memberi kelebihan. Jadi keputusan tak boleh dibuat secara salah atau betul sahaja.

Kalau hari ni korg baru mula coaching, turun padang dengan budak-budak, akademi kecil, sekolah, komuniti, lesen C bukan soal bendera. Ia soal asas. Asas cara bercakap dengan pemain, asas cara susun latihan, asas cara faham permainan. Tanpa asas ni, tak kira logo apa pun atas sijil, coaching akan jadi kosong, takde ap-apa makna.

Ramai juga yang terlalu awal fikir nak ke Europe. Itu tak salah, tapi jangan lompat langkah. UEFA C bukan shortcut. Ia bukan jalan pintas untuk jadi coach professional. Ia cuma mula biasakan kita dengan cara fikir yang agak berbeza. Kalau asas pun belum kuat, pressure dia boleh buat coach cepat burn out, bukan cepat naik, last-last apo pun tak dapat.

Dalam konteks Malaysia p**ak, saya selalu cakap dengan jujur. FAM C adalah tapak yang realistik. Ia sesuai dengan budaya, struktur dan pemain kita. Dari situ, bila naik ke B dan A, barulah tactical, leadership dan competitive environment masuk dengan lebih berat. Dan ya, FAM B dan A memang untuk team kompetitif dan professional, bukan sekadar akar umbi.

Bezanya di Europe, expectation tinggi datang lebih awal. Di Asia, expectation naik berperingkat. Dua-dua ada logik masing-masing.

So bila sembang kedai mamak, tanya lesen mana lebih power? Jem kejap nak jawab sebab kena paham korang ni nak jadi coach di mana? Dengan siapa? Dan berapa jauh korang sanggup pergi dalam proses belajar?

Sijil ni boleh tunggu datang dari mana je. Ilmu tak boleh tunggu dan coach yang baik bukan yang cepat kumpul lesen, tapi yang sanggup bina diri setiap minggu di padang dan sangkup juga kongsi ilmu pada yang perlukan.

Yang paling penting, bukan bila ada sijil tinggi sikit kita patut rasa bangga sangat, apatah lagi sampai rasa diri dah “MANTAF”. Hakikatnya, sijil hanyalah pengiktirafan bahawa kita pernah belajar, bukan bukti bahawa ilmu kita sentiasa terkini. Dunia bola sepak sentiasa bergerak pantas. Apa yang kita belajar lima atau sepuluh tahun lepas, kalau tak dikemas kini, boleh jadi ilmu lama yang sudah tak relevan dengan realiti hari ini.

Pengalaman di padang memang sangat berharga. Ia membentuk kefahaman, kematangan, dan cara kita membaca situasi sebenar. Tapi pengalaman tanpa pembelajaran berterusan juga boleh membuatkan kita terperangkap dengan cara lama. Sebab itu, sijil dan pengalaman perlu berjalan seiring, bukan untuk dibanggakan, tetapi untuk dipertanggungjawabkan.

Ilmu bukan sesuatu yang kita kumpul sekali dan simpan. Ia sesuatu yang perlu sentiasa diperbaharui, diuji semula, dan kadang-kadang dicabar. Coach yang baik bukan yang paling banyak sijil, tetapi yang sanggup mengaku masih belajar, masih bertanya, dan masih terbuka untuk berubah. Kerendahan hati inilah yang membezakan coach yang benar-benar berkembang dengan coach yang sekadar berhenti pada kertas.

Happy Sunday!

Ada lagi coach tanya saya benda ni, especially bila borak pasal lesen. Ada beza kah lesen AFC C dengan UEFA C ni sebenarnya?
UEFA C power rangers ke? Atau sama je?

So saya jawab cara simple, jujur dan tak overclaim.

First thing dulu. AFC C dan UEFA C adalah level yang sama. Dua-dua lesen asas. Dua-dua bukan untuk coach team professional. Dua-dua adalah pintu masuk dunia coaching yang betul. Jadi kalau ada yang kata UEFA C terus buat kita jadi coach elite, itu memang mitos.

Bezanya bukan pada level, tapi pada cara coach dibentuk dari awal.

Dalam sistem Asia, AFC C dibina untuk pastikan coach ada asas yang kukuh. Cara plan session, cara communicate dengan pemain, cara faham game principle yang basic, dan paling penting, cara handle pemain muda dengan betul. Ia sangat sesuai dengan realiti rantau kita yang luas dan pelbagai tahap. Ramai coach AFC C memang akan kekal di grassroots, akademi, sekolah, dan itu bukan benda negatif.

Di Europe p**a, UEFA C hidup dalam ekosistem yang sangat kompetitif. Coach bukan setakat ramai, tapi mudah bergerak antara negara. Jadi walaupun masih C level, coach dah mula “dipaksa” untuk berfikir. Bukan sekadar buat session, tapi kenapa buat macam tu. Coach mula biasakan diri dengan reflective practice, observation, tulis refleksi ringkas, dan faham konteks game walaupun masih asas, tapi ramai sebenarnya coach kita even yg xde lesen dan sampai level mcm ni.

Bukan sebab UEFA nak susahkan coach. Tapi sebab di Europe, C licence bukan destinasi akhir. Ia cuma stepping stone. Kalau tak naik, akan ketinggalan.

Satu lagi benda penting. AFC C lebih praktikal dari segi delivery. Fokus besar pada “boleh coach atau tidak”. UEFA C p**a lebih kognitif. Fokus pada “boleh jelaskan dan reflect atau tidak”. Dua-dua penting, cuma timing dia berbeza.

Bila masuk B dan A, jurang tu makin kecil. Tactical planning, game model, leadership semua ni ada dalam FAM B dan A, sama macam UEFA B dan A. Jadi jangan pandang rendah pathway tempatan.

Kesimp**an saya mudah. Kalau anda coaching di Malaysia, bina pemain, bina akademi, AFC / FAM C sangat relevan. Kalau impian nak masuk ekosistem Europe, UEFA C beri exposure awal kepada cara fikir yang mereka expect.

Akhirnya, lesen hanyalah tiket. Yang bawa kita jauh ialah cara kita coach, cara kita belajar, dan cara kita rendah diri dengan ilmu.

Paham? Tak paham nanti saya dalam lagi.

AFC C @ FAM C & FAW C @ UEFA C

Sebelum ni ada kengkawan coach, parents dan juga academy owner ada tanya maybe sebab keliru bila tengok sijil coaching hari ini. Soalan yang sama kerap muncul. Kenapa nama AFC atau UEFA dah tak tertulis atas sijil, dan kenapa sekarang jadi FAM C atau FAW C. Ada yang terus risau, takut lesen jadi kurang nilai atau tak “power” macam dulu. Sebenarnya, ini bukan isu downgrade, tapi perubahan cara FIFA mengurus coach education under coach convention.

Dulu bila orang dengar istilah AFC C atau UEFA C, bunyinya macam konfederasi besar turun sendiri ke padang, tengok kita coaching, lepas tu keluarkan sijil. Hakikatnya dari dulu lagi, yang menjalankan kursus, menilai coach dan keluarkan sijil ialah association negara. Bezanya sekarang, nama konfederasi tak lagi dijadikan branding atas kertas.

Jadi yang dulu dpt sijil ada logo AFC jangan bangga sangat hehe dan yang ada sijil logo FAM jangan sedih sangat, sama je sebenarnya.

Di Malaysia, sijil dikeluarkan oleh Football Association of Malaysia. Di Wales dan kebanyakan negara Eropah, sijil dikeluarkan oleh Football Association of Wales atau FA masing-masing. Asian Football Confederation dan Union of European Football Associations masih ada, cuma peranan mereka lebih kepada menjaga standard, audit kualiti dan memastikan semua association ikut Coaching Convention yang ditetapkan.

Saya selalu guna analogi mudah. AFC dan UEFA ibarat kementerian. FAM dan FAW ibarat sekolah. Sekolah yang keluarkan sijil, tapi silibus, jam pembelajaran, cara penilaian dan tahap kelulusan semuanya datang daripada kementerian. Jadi bila nampak nama FAM atau FAW atas sijil, itu bukan bermakna standard jatuh. Itu bermakna tanggungjawab diletakkan sepenuhnya kepada association negara untuk jaga kualiti coach mereka.

Di peringkat C, FAM banyak menekankan pembinaan asas coaching yang sesuai dengan konteks Malaysia, termasuk pembangunan pemain muda, akademi dan komuniti. Di Eropah, walaupun masih C level, coach sudah didedahkan lebih awal dengan budaya reflective practice, dokumentasi, analisis perlawanan dan expectation yang lebih tinggi. Ini bukan kerana FAW atau UEFA lebih hebat, tetapi kerana ekosistem bola sepak Eropah yang sangat kompetitif dan coach mudah berpindah dari satu negara ke negara lain.

Disebabkan mobiliti yang tinggi inilah UEFA kini menjadi lebih ketat. Mereka tak lagi bergantung kepada nama sijil semata-mata. Mereka mahu bukti keupayaan sebenar. Sebab itu wujud conversion atau alignment programme. Ia bukan bermaksud lesen FAW atau mana-mana FA lain lemah, tetapi satu cara untuk memastikan semua coach yang bergerak dalam ekosistem UEFA benar-benar berada pada tahap yang sama. Jadi bagi yang telah mempunyai FAW C perlu uuntuk convert kepada UEFA C dan paling penting setiap 3 tahun coach wajib untuk “revalidate” certificate dengan melibatkan diri dengan program Coach Education atau Conference untuk tambah nilai ilmu serta utk kemas kini ilmu sedia ada oleh kerana penambahan info dari segi teori, penambahan “principle of play” setelah beberapa kajian tau penambahbaikkan yang dibuat oleh FA.

Kesimp**annya mudah. FAM pathway sangat relevan dan kuat untuk coach yang ingin membina pemain dan membangunkan bola sepak tempatan, manakala UEFA memberi kelebihan dari segi exposure dan mobiliti antarabangsa untuk mereka yang bercita-cita ke peringkat global.

Pada akhirnya, logo atas sijil boleh berubah, tetapi kualiti coach ditentukan oleh ilmu, pengalaman dan kejujuran dalam proses coaching itu sendiri.

Ada soklan? Buleh lah tanya dan kita kongsi pendapat sama2 sekiranya ada pendapat yamg berbeza. Mungkin saya buleh kupas levih sedikit tentang kelebihan, UEFA dengan membuat perbandingan atau maybe some key points bagi coach untuk membuat decision samada untuk teruskan dengan FAM Coaching Program, UEFA Pathways, atau conversion atau lain2….

Kepakaran kami adalah membantu mengajar serta melatih Akar Umbi (7-12 tahun) bagi melahirkan pemain yang berbakat dengan meningkatkan kemahiran bola sepak agar mereka dapat bersaing di peringkat tertinggi malahan meningkatkan kemahiran inshaniah melalui pendekatan yang berbeza iaitu Melahirkan serta Mengasah bakat dengan program-program yang telah dicipta dan dibangunkan sendiri oleh Pengasas the SEKOLAH BOLA.

Matlamat utama kami adalah untuk membentuk watak serta ciri positif dalam setiap peserta bagi mengembalikan nilai sosial yang telah pudar di kalangan peserta yang terlalu asyik dengan gadget dan pemainan virtual.

Kelebihan utama the SEKOLAH BOLA adalah teknik pembelajaran yang telah digunakan pada setiap sesi untuk mengasah bakat terpendam peserta dengan memberikan pengalaman yang terbaik untuk bermain, bergembira sambil mempelajari kemahiran bola sepak.

Interaksi terbaik di antara Jurulatih dengan peserta juga menjadi faktor utama para peserta mempunyai minat untuk terus menjadikan bola sepak antara sukan kegemaran mereka.
