CAR CAUGHT FIRE AT AEON BIG SUBANG JAYA HYPERMARKET

A vehicle parked at AEON BiG Subang Jaya basement carpark caught fire, inadvertently causing confusion when it was initially mistaken to be a 'a structural fire'.

Thankfully, quick response from the SS17 Fire & Rescue Department prevented further damage to other vehicles and also the building.

There were no casualties and no damage to the structure of the carpark, according to Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Station head Syed Shahril Anuar Syed Sulaiman.

Went for a Sunday stroll at BMC Mall . It's been quite awhile actually and happy to see it bustling with new tenants, with quite a number of old shops are still there.

There is now a Starbucks, Korean Grocer and even a fitness centre, Believe Fitness, while Sport Planet Warehouse Outlet has been replaced with Homeworld.

Not bad!

Oh no, Superdry Mid Valley Megamall KL store will cease operation next month on the 13th June 2022!

However, Superdry Pavilion KL , Sunway Pyramid , Sunway Velocity Mall , AEON MALL Tebrau City and Suria Sabah Shopping Mall will continue to operate as usual.

Face masks will no longer be mandatory outdoors starting May 1, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced today.

However, it is still mandatory to wear face masks indoors, including in 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗦, offices, on public transportation and on e-hailing rides.

Khairy also said the face mask can be removed when exercising indoors, when a person is by himself/herself, when eating and drinking, when making a speech, or when in a performance.

However, our Health Mistry ‘encourages’ the general public to put on the face mask outdoors, especially :

✅ when in crowded spaces
✅ individuals who are symptomatic with fever, cough and flu
✅ high-risk individuals
✅ when conducting activities with high-risk individuals such as the elderly and children.
