Spending time with Poekie & Cornel on their wedding day truly felt just like a good old hang session with old friends. It was filled with easy laughs, real moments and a love for the ages.

Also spent the day running around with which was loads of fun and would highly recommend anyone do at some point.

A few weeks ago, Jané and Christoff showed me the spot where they had their very first date. We sat around, laughed, and chatted about their wedding plans while the sun slowly lit up the horizon and the city came to life.

Such a joy to be let into moments like these. I’m so excited for their big day!

I just finished reading Shantaram and it took me on this whole journey through Bombay (now Mumbai). And maybe it's the post-book blues talking, but it reminded me how much love and joy humanity can hold in scary and divisive times as these, even if we have to look a little harder for it.

In this corner of the internet, we choose love, peace and we touch grass every now and then. So here's a little timeline cleanser with a love story that solidified with Windhoek's mountains standing by, at a distance, keeping watch over us beautiful and messy humans.

As a wedding vendor, I usually just get a glimpse of a couple's story. I get the full-glam, perfectly planned day. But sometimes, if I'm lucky, within the madness and chaos of the day, I'm also privy to the little everyday things. The quick glances, the easy and small gestures and the steady energy of their love. Lihandri and Shaun had me in my feels, man.
