Dear Fellow Namibian Influencers, Musicians, and Community,
Inclusivity Starts With Us
Building an inclusive community is one of the best investment in our daily lives and it doesn’t require no discussion or government mandates. It starts with how we treat others in the community for all. It’s in the way we listen, the respect we give, the language we use, and the opportunities we create for others to rise.
I am so happy to see some of our marginalized community, previous disadvantage people and disability people being lifted up and recognized in the community for all in diffrent creative industries be in music, education, religiuos places, business etc. This is a rarely practices that so many creative personnels rejects them with so many negativities beliefs.
Namibians, take good examples to other countries like Nigerians, Kenyans, DR Congo and SA just to mention few, they recognixed and introduce their own disadvantage people making their environment more safe, entertaining, accessible and inspirable to their country. Thus, why you are following them on social mainstream in different occupations.
Being ashamed to show love or walking with them, collaborate with them in different creative projects and so on is not a good thing to do. Rather this will be a signed of how discriminative, how bad and how inhumane you are to other people from other countries. We have them in our community. Lets support them, lets show them love, lets continue working with them, lets create more opportunity for them, lets use them to inspire the future.
I am so excited to see some musician positively making huge impact in our community for all by some are collobarating with less fortunate people. Yes, this is really needed in the community for all.
Please continue supporting them. Its really inspiring and you willnever know how many lives you are going to change through that.
Its time for the government or corporate entities to start recognize any artists or individuals who are positively collaborating with such people to be at least be sponsored or given a priority in any commercial public performance events may arised. They are playing a biggest roles in the society for all.
