: Italian Jannik Sinner closed out his season by successfully defending the ATP Finals title at home in Turin with a straight-sets victory over Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz.

He becomes only the fourth player this century to defend the title, joining Lleyton Hewitt (Australia, 2001/02), Roger Federer (Switzerland, 2003/04; 2006/07; 2010/11) and Novak Djokovic (Serbia, 2012 to 2015; 2022/23).
