Namibiaโ€™s Ambassador to Russia, H.E. Monica Ndiliawike Nashandi, encouraged the Brave Warriors to approach their friendly against Russia with a winning mentality, discipline and pride.

She highlighted the longstanding friendship between Namibia and Russia, noting the important role sport plays in strengthening relations between the two countries.

She also urged the players to use the opportunity to build their individual profiles:

โ€œPlay for your country, but also play for yourself. Play to get better opportunities. Hopefully, one or two of you will be scouted and get the opportunity to play your football here in Russia.
