The Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform (MAWLR) in joint collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) are currently hosting a workshop in Swakopmund on : SADC AIMS Data collection and data inputting workshop.
The AIMS project component strives to enhance access to information for evidence-based decision-making while at the same time supporting the implementation of the SADC Regional Agricultural Policy (RAP) which aims to enhance production, productivity, competitiveness, and food security, as well as promote agro-industry development.
The workshop is expected to end on the 15th December.

The Namibia National Farmers Union (NNFU) is currently hosting their 9th electoral congress in Rundu. Expected to end on the 29th November , the congress is to elect a new governance structure.
