SIX THINGS YOU DO THAT KILLS YOUR BRAND (without you knowing).
Inconsistency.
Trust me, I know how it feels, especially when you're not seeing any results and the first few months of starting that business, but if you do not stay consistent, I'll guarantee you that you won't see any success. Some brands are known not because they have the perfect products but because they have been around consistently for years, showing up without hesitation.
Always show up, keep doing what you do and seek out better ways to develop your business.
Being Indecisive
Look, if you don't decide on the primary services or products you will be offering, then it's best you don't start at all because you'll end up confusing yourself and your potential audience. A lot of aspiring business owners jump into trends without due investigation. Could you stay in your lane and grow on it?
Lack of patience
You've probably come across the phrase ' Rome was not built in a day", although they moulded blocks and mixed cement daily, which is what you should be doing. Expecting immediate results will blind you from seeing the things you should improve in your business. Business stability and wealth is a journey, and it takes time and patience.
Unhealthy Comparison
When your focus is on what other brands are doing, you are setting yourself up for an unhappy ending. Learn from your competitors but don't compare yourself with them.
Lack of knowledge
Without knowledge, you'll be missing out on opportunities for growth and expansion with your brand. Hire a coach, attend webinars and events, join a community of people in the same industry as you, do research, keep your knowledge bank overflowing always.
No strategies
It's just like going to where you don't know without a map or a guide. How do you measure brand success? what are the KPIs:s? All these and lots more are why you need a concise business strategy that shows what you need to do at each point of your business and how to get to the next level of business growth.
Now you see how you've seen hurting your brand all this while. It's not too late to turn a new leaf and give your brand what it deserves.
