❤️ SUNDAY HEART TALK: DON’T FORGET WHAT GOD HAS DONE

Sometimes, we are so focused on the prayer God has not answered yet that we forget the many prayers He has already answered.

Think about it…

There was a time you prayed for the very thing you now have.

You cried for that opportunity.
You begged God for that breakthrough.
You prayed for healing.
You asked God to protect your family.
You prayed for a job, a child, a home, provision, peace…

And God came through. 🙏

But today, because another problem has appeared, we have forgotten yesterday’s miracle.

Human beings can be quick to forget.

When the Red Sea was in front of the Israelites, they forgot that God had already brought them out of Egypt.

And sometimes, we do the same thing.

The moment a new challenge comes, we start asking, “God, where are You?”

But maybe today God wants you to pause and remember:

“I have done it before, and I can do it again.”

That problem you are facing today is not bigger than the God who carried you through yesterday.

Before you complain about what is missing, take a moment to thank God for what He has already provided.

🙏 PRAYER

Father, forgive us for forgetting Your faithfulness. Help us to remember every prayer You have answered, every door You have opened, and every battle You have brought us through. Give us grateful hearts and the faith to trust You with the prayers that are still waiting for answers.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. ❤️

“NEVER DESPISE SMALL BEGINNINGS”

When Emeka started his business, he had very little money.

His friends laughed at him.

“Is this the big business you were talking about?”

Emeka ignored them.

Every morning, he opened his small shop.

Some days, he made good sales.

Other days, he barely sold anything.

But he kept showing up.

He saved.

He reinvested.

He learned.

He improved.

Years later, the small shop had become a successful business.

One of the friends who once laughed at him visited him and said:

“Please, teach me how you did it.”

Emeka smiled.

“I simply refused to despise my small beginning.”

LESSON:
Don't be ashamed of starting small. Great things often begin quietly.

“ONE MORE TIME”

For years, Sarah had been trying to start her business.

She failed more than once.

Each time she started again, something went wrong.

People told her, “Maybe business isn't for you.”

Eventually, she became tired.

One night, she told herself, “I'm done. I won't try again.”

But the next morning, something inside her said:

“Try one more time.”

She listened.

She started again—but this time, she learned from her previous mistakes.

She changed her strategy.

She became more disciplined.

She refused to give up.

Months later, her business began to grow.

One day, she sat in her shop and remembered the night she almost quit.

She smiled and whispered:

“Thank God I tried one more time.”

Sometimes your breakthrough is closer than you think.

“THIS IS ONLY A CHAPTER”

There was a woman named Grace who had been going through a difficult season.

Bills were piling up.

Her business was struggling.

She had problems at home.

Every morning, she woke up wondering, “When will this end?”

One day, she visited an elderly woman who listened to everything she had to say.

After Grace finished talking, the woman gave her a book.

“Read this,” she said.

Grace opened the book and saw several chapters.

The elderly woman asked, “If you don't like chapter five, will you throw away the entire book?”

“No,” Grace replied.

“Why?”

“Because there are still other chapters.”

The woman smiled.

“Then don't throw away your life because you don't like the chapter you're currently living.”

Grace became quiet.

That simple statement changed her perspective.

Her situation had not changed overnight, but her hope returned.

LESSON:
A difficult season is only one chapter of your life. Don't give up because of a chapter you don't like.

“THE DOOR THAT CLOSED”

David lost his job unexpectedly.

He had worked there for seven years.

When his boss told him, “We have to let you go,” David felt like his whole world had collapsed.

He went home quietly.

His wife asked, “What happened?”

“I lost my job.”

For weeks, David searched for another job.

Nothing came.

One evening, he sat outside and said, “Maybe my life is finished.”

His wife looked at him and said, “Maybe this is not the end. Maybe God is changing your direction.”

David remembered that he had always wanted to start his own business but had been too afraid.

So he started small.

At first, only a few people bought from him.

But he remained consistent.

One year later, his small business was employing five people.

David looked back and realized something:

The job he thought was his security had actually been the thing preventing him from pursuing his dream.

LESSON:
Not every closed door is a punishment. Some closed doors are God's way of directing you toward a better path.
