It is noteworthy that Sarah Ogoke is the only Nigerian to have secured five consecutive Women's Afrobasket titles (2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, 2025).
The accomplishments of Sarah Ogoke with D'Tigress, as well as her endeavors off the court, do not receive the recognition they deserve.
In addition to her athletic prowess, Ogoke has been successfully managing a medical career while proudly representing Nigeria.
She is a surgeon and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Premedicine from Southern Polytechnic State University, Marietta, Georgia, as well as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Currently, she is a nursing mother with a child less than a year old, yet she committed herself to represent Nigeria at this year's Afrobasket.
This exemplifies not only dedication but also an incredible spirit.
