When My Husband's Family Called My Baby an "Abomination"

My husband's family came to visit us and meet our baby for the first time. But as soon as my mother-in-law saw her, she said something that broke my heart: she called my baby an "abomination."

Timmediately stood up for my daughter and told her she had no right to speak about my baby that way. It's not my daughter's fault that she was born with a birthmark on her face.

Then my sister-in-law jumped in, saying I was overreacting and being rude to her mother because it was

"just a comment."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The way they were looking at my daughter made me furious.

I told my mother-in-law that if she continued calling my daughter names, I wouldn't hesitate to take legal action. That's when she completely lost it.

She started yelling at me, saying she didn't want a granddaughter who looked like that-"ugly" and "deformed," as she cruelly put it.

I couldn't take it anymore. I slapped her in the face out of pure rage.

She then threatened to tell my husband everything and claimed he would leave me because he'd take her side, not mine. I told her she could tell whoever she wanted and even call the police because she was in my house disrespecting my baby.

My Entire Family Turned Against Me for Keeping My Daughter

I found out at four months pregnant that my daughter would be born with a disability. She has a rare syndrome, and she won't be able to walk because her limbs don't develop normally

Doctors even said she might not survive.

It was a huge shock when I found out.
