The Reality of Social Media Today
Take Chioma for example — she often makes videos half-naked, sometimes just in underwear with something to cover her chest.
Yet in her recent makeover photo, with her hair styled, makeup on, and a long dress, she looks completely different.
The moral story?
Many people like Chioma will do whatever it takes to blow up on social media. And honestly, can we blame them?
Because here’s the truth:
Society supports nonsense more than value.
If Chioma posts educational content, hardly anyone will watch.
But when she posts bold, controversial, or half-naked videos?
Instant attention, likes, and comments.
And then the same people who gave her that attention will turn around and condemn her. Hypocrisy at its peak.
At the end of the day, it’s about money and followers. The more shocking the content, the more views — and the more views, the more influence and opportunities.
This is the reality of today’s social media culture. We, as an audience, hold the power to change it — but only if we start giving our attention to things that truly matter.
