As a stay at home mom and a whatsapp/instagram vendor who sells clothes, shoes + bags vendor!

1: The challenge*
As a stay at home mom selling clothes, shoes, and bags on WhatsApp and Instagram, my biggest struggle is answering repeated questions while caring for my 7-month-old baby. Customers constantly ask “How much is this gown?”, “Do you have size 42?”, “Is this bag leather?” I was always typing the same replies, mixing up shoe sizes, and losing sales because I couldn’t respond quickly while attending to my baby.

*2: How AI helps me*
AI tools like ChatGPT now help me handle customer messages faster. I saved all my product info, prices, sizes for clothes/shoes/bags, and delivery fees in ChatGPT. When someone asks “Do you have this bag in brown?”, I ask ChatGPT to draft a polite reply with available colors and prices. It also writes Instagram captions like “New Ankara gowns just landed! DM to order” in seconds. AI cuts my typing time from 2 hours to 20 minutes during baby’s naps

3: How automation helps me*
Automation keeps my orders organized without me doing copy-paste. I use a Google Form linked in my bio: “Order your clothes/shoes/bags here”. When a customer fills it with their size, color, and address, automation adds everything to Google Sheets and sends them “Order received + account details” automatically. I no longer forget who ordered size 39 shoes or which customer wanted the black tote bag. My shop runs even when I’m breastfeeding. AI + automation gives me back time so I can sell more and still be a present mom.
