AN ARTICLE ABOUT THE TALENT GROOMING SCHOOLS (T.G.S)

INTRODUCTION: Talent Grooming Schools is an institution where effective tutoring, grooming of young talents takes place. It aims children to become superstars in different facets of life.
HISTORY: It all began a couple of years ago when a talented young man on his bed in the night, had a vision; a vision of eradicating illiteracy in his homeland, a vision of grooming young talents to become great men and women in the nearest future, a vision of shaping young souls to become spiritually connected to the Most High God. The name Talent Grooming Schools was gotten after series of contemplation, and indeed, it is the best name to be given to an institution. The school began in a rented building and was managed for effective grooming of the kids. Facilities for learning werenβt left out as the Founder Mr. Paschal Esu, a mystic, a guardian fierce and true, a writer and educationist worked tooth and nail to provide a very good learning atmosphere for his kids. Teachers with an applaudable experience were employed to groom the kids. Indeed, the vision became a reality. Mr. Paschal Esu would always say, βGod will take us to the promise land soonβ. His staff, formators and pupils would always asked what he meant by that and he would say that the place they are staying for the learning is not the permanent school, that God shall take them to the permanent site.
PRESENT: presently, the school is located in a very serene and remote permanent environment. This was always the dream of the founder. Learning facilities are up to date. The standard of learning and formation is improved more than before. The schoolβs population is increasing rapidly as parents are bringing their wards to be groomed to become academically, spiritually, socially, morally and creatively sound for the future. In the school, different teaching methods and pedagogies (techniques of learning or teaching) have been adopted. The school has a very good standard library and a good ICT centre. There is a Basic English and ICT program going on for their teachers and applicants and Conceptual English program for their children. It is a fact that, the children are learning so well and the teachers do not only offer to the school, the school also offers the opportunities to her teachers to acquire fluent knowledge they couldnβt get. The English and ICT are not limited programs; others are Martial Art, spiritual exercises, games etc.
FUTURE: The vision of talent Grooming School was a great one for both kids and young men and women across the globe. The building for the senior secondary education is under construction and from the plan, in no distant time, the talent Grooming Secondary School will begin with a very unique standard. The Talent Grooming English Academy for SSCE students has begun and in a short while, the standard of tutoring will definitely become unique where lecturers will be employed. The founder; Mr. Paschal Esu dreams of higher institution, though he thinks it being a very tasking job, Talent Grooming University shall come to be.
