🕯THE OIL THAT FILLS THE LAMP🕯
Many have read Matthew 25 and said, “The oil is the Set-Apart Spirit.”
But hear this truth: the oil is not something you are given... it is something that is produced.
You don't receive oil just by believing.
You don't receive oil just by waiting.
You receive oil by dying.
🖤 Crude oil is made from death. From pressure. From time. From what once lived, now buried in the earth.
So are we—formed from the dust of the earth. And unless we die daily, we remain dry, unlit, and foolish.
The wise maidens had oil because they died to themselves.
They denied the flesh. They bore their stake. They let go of the world.
And in that place—low, broken, surrendered—the Set-Apart Spirit could fill what was emptied.
The foolish virgins had lamps too... but no oil.
Why? Because they wanted the light without the crushing.
They wanted the reward without the sacrifice.
They had the appearance of devotion, but not the death it requires.
> “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.”
— John 12:24 (TS2009)
> “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his stake daily, and follow Me.”
— Luke 9:23
> “For if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live.”
— Romans 8:13
The oil in your lamp is the record of your surrender.
The proof that you’ve been crushed under the hand of Yahuah.
The substance that fuels your flame in the midnight hour.
And when the Bridegroom comes, He’s not looking for those with flashy lamps...
He’s looking for those who’ve been pressed, poured out, made low, and set on fire.
He’s looking for oil.
> “And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’
But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, indeed, there would not be enough for us and you. Instead, go to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’..And the door was shut.”
— Matthew 25:8–10
You can’t borrow someone else's death.
You can’t borrow someone else's surrender.
You must go and buy for yourself—with your life.
Let your flesh be buried,
Let your will be crushed,
Let your pride be broken,
So that the flame of Yahusha might rise.
🔥 This is the oil that fuels the flame. 🔥
