In Ebonyi state, there is a common community called Ehugbo in Afikpo north LGA of Ebonyi State. This is how they welcome a new born baby in their town.
Village women's will come out and dance to welcome a new baby.
Say Wow, even if you don't understand the song. It's for a new born baby.

Therefore, Ehugbo is the original name for Afikpo, an ancient Igbo town in Ebonyi State, Nigeria. It is a center of traditional Igbo culture and the headquarters of the Afikpo North Local Government Area.
The name Afikpo is the anglicized version of the native Ehugbo, and today both names are used to refer to the same place.
