*📢 GOOD NEWS FOR CANCER PATIENTS ON RADIOTHERAPY*

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has reviewed its coverage and tariff for radiotherapy services for cancer patients, with immediate effect.

*Key changes:*

• The previous ₦400,000 cap on radiotherapy has been removed.

• The previous 50:50 cost-sharing arrangement has been abolished.

• Radiotherapy tariffs are now site-specific, reflecting the different resource requirements and treatment protocols for various cancer types.

The NHIA directs all HMOs, healthcare facilities and radiotherapy centres to comply with the revised tariff and ensure seamless, continuous and high-quality service delivery to NHIA enrollees.
