Billionaire Media Tycoon Rupert Murdoch, has six children. He is chairman emeritus of News Corporation, which owns The Sun, The Times, Sunday Times as well as American media giants such as Fox News and the Wall Street Journal. He stepped down late last year, handing the reins to his eldest son Lachlan.
His first marriage was in 1956 to Patricia Booker, an airline hostess from Adelaide, Australia who died in 2000. They had one child, Prudence, 65, and divorced in 1967.
In the same year 1967, he married Anna Torv, a Scottish journalist at his Sydney newspaper The Daily Mirror. The couple were married for more than 30 years and had three children: Elisabeth, 54, Lachlan, 51, and James, 50.
Three weeks after their divorce, Murdoch married third wife, Wendi Deng, 55, who was 37 years his junior at the time. They met when she was an executive at the Murdoch owned Star TV in Hong Kong. Married from 1999 to 2013, they have two daughters, Grace, 22, and Chloe, 20.
In 2016 he married for the fourth time, ex American supermodel Jerry Hall, 67, at a civil ceremony in London. At the time he tweeted "Feel like the luckiest AND happiest man in the world." They were married for six years and divorced in August 2022 with no children.
In 2023 he proposed to Ann Lesley Smith, 66, on St Patrick’s Day, calling off the engagement just two weeks later.
This weekend, Rupert Murdoch, 93, married his fifth wife, Elena Zhukova, 67, retired micro biologist, at Moraga, his imposing Bel Air vineyard estate in California, over the weekend.
