BREAKING: Police arrest Portable over G-Wagon debt

The Lagos State Police Command, on Tuesday, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, for refusing to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased G-Wagon from a car dealer in the state.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that Portable had been arrested.

He said, “Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought G-Wagon for N27m, paid N13m and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today.”

PHOTOS: Zimbabwe President Donates 54 Bicycles To Village Heads As Christmas Gift

The President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, on Tuesday, donated 54 bicycles to village heads in Zvishavane as a Christmas gift.

Also, the county's First Lady, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa, donated Christmas hampers to the wives of Village Heads present at the event.

This was made known by the Zimbabwean Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting on its official X handle on Tuesday.

The post read, "Today, His Excellency President Mnangagwa donated 54 bicycles to Chief Mapanzure, at Lundi Primary School in Zvishavane.

"The bicycles will be distributed to village heads."

Some Zimbabweans, however, react to the news describing it is an embarrassment to the country, and questioning the cost-benefit of 54 bicycles and the cost of the taking the presidential entourage to the village.

100 Level NSUK Student Commits Su***de Over Failed Relationship

A 100-level female student at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has reportedly taken her own life.

According to Trendygists, the undergraduate student identified as Sarah Redemption was a student of Microbiology before the unfortunate incident.

The incident unfolded when the young student reportedly ingested an unknown poisonous substance, leading to the irreversible loss of her life.

Fellow students at the university rushed to her aid, attempting to neutralize the poison and stabilize her with palm oil, but their efforts proved futile.

At this time, the motive behind the distressing decision to end her life remains shrouded in mystery but sources alleged that she took her life because of a failed relationship with a young man.

A source identified as Bigbosco Wisdom said, “NSUK 100 level from department of microbiology commit su***de yesterday because of relationship issue.”

He further revealed that, “the remains of saratu redemption now leaves for her home town for burial”

The home of a former South African President, Nelson Mandela, where he lived before his demise has been abandoned.

According to a South African journalist, Silindelo Masikene, in a tweet on Friday, the ex-President's grandchildren, who were the home's last occupants, left due to unpaid electricity bills.

Sharing photos of the house, Masikane wrote, "EXCLUSIVE: The last place former president called home has been abandoned.

"The mansion on 12th Avenue in Houghton was being occupied by Mandela’s grandchildren but they moved out after the lights were cut due to unpaid utility bills - which according to his grandchildren are supposed to be paid by the Nelson Rolihlala Mandela Trust.

"10 years after the statesman’s death and his estate has still not been wind up."
