🎓 Project Defense in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Award of Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
I am filled with profound gratitude to the Almighty God for the gift of life, good health, and the strength to successfully complete my final year project titled: “Design and Implementation of an Arduino-Based Dual-Axis Solar Tracker with Dust Detection for Maximum Energy Efficiency.”
This milestone would not have been possible without the guidance, support, and encouragement of several remarkable individuals who played vital roles throughout my academic journey.
First and foremost, my sincere appreciation goes to my project supervisor, Engr. Harris Yusuf, for his ceaseless guidance, constructive criticism, and continuous motivation throughout this work. Your commitment to nurturing competent engineers who can excel in the professional world is truly inspiring.
To my beloved parents, Chief and Mrs. Nwonu Joseph, thank you for your unwavering moral, financial, and emotional support — your sacrifices made this possible.
My heartfelt appreciation also goes to Engr. Prof. Lanre Joseph Olatomiwa, Deputy Director on Research , FUT Minna, and to our esteemed staff advisor, Engr. Dr. O. J. Tola, for their unwavering support and mentorship during my tenure as President of the Department. The leadership wisdom, administrative insight, and encouragement you both provided greatly shaped my growth and inspired me to lead with purpose and integrity.
To Engr. Dr. U. S. Dauda, Head of Department, your leadership and availability have created a conducive environment for learning and collaboration that I’m proud to have been part of. My gratitude also goes to Engr. Mrs. Abimbola Asindi, our laboratory technologist, for your tireless efforts, guidance, and motherly advice — thank you, ma.
I’m also deeply grateful to Engr. Prof. Oluwafemi Olugboju of the Mechanical Engineering Department. Though from another department, your approachable nature, leadership style, and relationship with students left a lasting impression on me. I especially appreciate your calmness and fairness during the Engineering Faculty Elections, where I was privileged to serve as part of the Electoral Committee (INDESEC). Your humility and student-centered leadership are truly worthy of emulation.
To my family, friends, and coursemates - especially Ajani Julius Oluwatosin and Ekechi Goodluck Ejimofor - thank you for your encouragement, support, and companionship throughout this journey.
Finally, to my project partners, Chuks Reuben Omeje and Ajani Julius Oluwatosin, meeting and working with you both at FUT Minna has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my academic life.
This achievement represents more than just the completion of a project ; it marks the beginning of a new chapter of growth, innovation, and impact.
