Though we may not be able to mention names individually, be rest assured that every act of kindness, every prayer whispered, and every tear shed on our behalf has been recorded—not just by us, but also by God Almighty, who rewards those that stand for good.

With hearts filled with gratitude, we from MEDICO TV FAMILY joyfully announce that our Pioneer Correspondent and General Secretary, Nwani Adaeze Suzana Rawgold, who was kidnapped SEVEN (7) days ago alongside our CEO — on the 8th of October, 2025 — has finally regained her freedom!

‎The past days have been filled with tears, prayers, and unshaken faith. But today, we lift our hands in thanksgiving, for God has turned our mourning into dancing and our fear into laughter. Life, they say, is more precious than silver or gold, and to preserve this divine gift, the ransom demanded by the kidnappers was paid.

‎According to Master Chibuike Solomon John Okorie, the younger brother to the MEDICO TV CEO, who courageously went to deliver the ransom, said that, not only was Adaeze Suzana Rawgold released, but all the other kidnapped victims also regained their freedom at the same time. Many families, unable to travel down to Benin, Edo State, entrusted their contributions to him, and through his bravery, the mission was successful — all by the grace and mercy of God.

TRAGIC INCIDENT: KIDNAPPING ATTACK ALONG BENIN ROAD CLAIMS SEVERAL VICTIMS INCLUDING MEDICO TV TEAM.

A tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday 8th October 2025, at about 5:00 a.m., along Benin, Edo State, when suspected kidnappers ambushed and abducted several passengers travelling from Lagos to the South-East.

According to eyewitness accounts and reports from the Ilaje Motor Park in Lagos, a commercial bus heading to Okposi, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, and a Sienna vehicle en route to Enugu, were both attacked by heavily armed men suspected to be Fulani kidnappers, speaking in core Fulani/Hausa dialect.

Six passengers from the Okposi-bound bus and two from the Enugu-bound Sienna were whisked away into the forest by the assailants. Among those kidnapped were members of the MEDICO TV Team, who were onboard the bus.

The victims as confirmed by the park manager include:

Additionally, two other victims from the Sienna vehicle are yet to be identified.

After spending two days in the dense Orvia Forest in Benin, the CEO of MEDICO TV, Mr. Chukwuma John Okorie, courageously managed to escape while the kidnappers were asleep. Upon regaining freedom, he immediately reported the incident to the nearest police station, providing crucial information about the captors and the location.

And the DPO of Okada Divisional Headquarters Edo State immediately took to action and mobilized his police men, and went into the Orvia forest alongside the CEO of MEDICO TV in search for the immediate recover of the remaining victims.

But after a long search in the bush, all efforts to apprehend the kidnappers and reclaim the freedom of the remaining victims proofed abortive.

However, the MEDICO TV Pioneer Correspondent and General Secretary, Nwani Adaeze Suzana, remains in captivity alongside other abducted victims. Initially, the kidnappers demanded ₦10 million per person as ransom, but as of this morning, they reportedly reduced their demand to ₦3 million each, threatening to take the lives of the hostages if payment is not made before the end of today.

This is therefore a cry for urgent help to the Nigerian Government, the security agencies, community leaders, and well-meaning individuals to intervene swiftly and ensure the safe release of those still in captivity.

We call on the Inspector-General of Police, the Governor of Edo State, the Governor of Ebonyi State, and the Governor of Enugu State, to deploy every possible measure to rescue these innocent citizens from the hands of their abductors.

Our hearts are heavy, but our faith remains firm that God will deliver them safely and that justice will prevail.

A POWERFUL MOMENT OF GRATITUDE AND REFLECTION 🙏🎥🔥.

Yesterday, being 7th October 2025, marked yet another remarkable chapter in the journey of MEDICO TV📺.

Our CEO was at Alaba International Market, Lagos State, to purchase some of our new professional media equipments—vital tools that will take our production quality to even greater heights. It was indeed a huge investment into the vision we carry, and though the cost was high, the mission remains clear: to keep informing, inspiring, and entertaining the people through excellence.

After concluding the business of the day, I decided to reach out to some of my brothers in the market. I called my kindred brother Mr. Sunday Nwanja Igbo, the visionary CEO of SINOS Group of Companies, known for top-quality phone accessories. He warmly directed me to his shop.

But fate had another surprise waiting. On getting there, I ran into another good friend and brother, Mr. Christian Chukwu Darlington, the dynamic CEO of ChrisDan Communications, Alaba International Market.
