It’s surprising how confidently some people argue ignorantly online.
Recently, I shared a post explaining why conduit piping/ducting is better than surface piping. To my amazement, people with no experience in construction jumped into the comments, arguing blindly.
Some argued about maintenance: how many buildings have you seen where the walls were broken just to fix plumbing?
I believe most people will answer none, and if there are any, it would only be on very rare occasions.
Nothing weakens pipes faster than exposure to harsh weather conditions.
When the right materials are used with proper craftsmanship, concealed pipes can last many years without issues, if any at all.
Someone even claimed conduit piping weakens the building’s structure. Really? Beams and columns are the true structural members of a building, not the concealed pipes or blocks they run through.
