In 2 Kings 2:23ā€“25, some youths mocked the prophet Elisha... and bears came out of the woods to handle the disrespect.

You may not see wild animals reacting today, but mockery, dishonor, and rebellion still carry consequences just in different forms: missed opportunities, broken relationships, closed doors.

āž”ļø God still defends His own.
āž”ļø Respect still matters.
āž”ļø Consequences still exist.

Moral
Donā€™t mistake delayed judgment for absence of consequences.

SPIRITUAL ALERTNESS CHECK!

When you're walking near sin and you feel nothing, no conviction, no caution, no inner check,itā€™s a sign your spiritual nervous system might not be functioning.
Just like our physical body feels pain to warn us of danger, your spirit is supposed to sense sin and stir you to flee. If it doesnā€™tā€¦ you may be numbed by compromise.

šŸ”„ Itā€™s time to:
āœ… Return to prayer
āœ… Soak in the Word
āœ… Ask God to re-sensitize your spirit

Donā€™t live numb. Stay spiritually sensitive.

Elizabeth and Zechariah were old, faithful, and barren ,yet they kept serving.
Priests of God. Devoted. Waiting.
And when it seemed too late, God showed up.
They didnā€™t quit. They didnā€™t grumble.
They worshipped while waiting.
They served through the silence.
They remained faithful in frustration.
What has stopped YOU from serving God?

šŸŒ¹ A broken heart?

šŸŒ¹A barren season?
Donā€™t let what youā€™re going through stop you from doing what you were born to do.

Read this slowly. Your heart needs it.

Rest. Breathe. Refill. You deserve care too.

Godā€™s timing , your timeline. Trust the process.

Some will clap with envy in their hearts.

But guess what?

Thatā€™s still better than being looked at with pity.

Because pity often comes with hidden judgment.

But envy? It comes because youā€™re doing something right.

Youā€™re making moves.

Iā€™ve learned that interrupting, correcting too quickly, or brushing off their little thoughts can close the door to their heartsā€¦ without us even realizing it.

Today, pause.
Put the phone down.
Make eye contact.
