I cried while writing Tales of Mercy.
About four years ago, I began documenting my true life story. Not just my journey with fibromyalgia, but my childhood, family struggles, poverty, mistakes, sickness, relationships — even the failed ones.
Many times, I asked God,
“Why put everything out there now? Can I not ‘blow’ first before sharing some of these ugly parts of my past?” ( I can laugh about it now, because I now understand we don't blow here, we grow till we glow.)😁
But I recognized the voice. And I couldn’t ignore it.
So I obeyed.
I wrote it raw.
Unedited.
Honest.
Some people were uncomfortable with how they appeared in my story.
Others felt I wasn’t healed enough — that it was “mental health wahala.”
But today, I can say this with peace: I have no regrets.
Sometimes we expect a big result after a big act of obedience.
But the result may simply be freedom.
Peace.
A lighter heart.
And sometimes, the result is knowing that your story became someone else’s deliverance.
That year, many lives were touched by Tales of Mercy. And my story is still transforming lives.
This has been a journey of faith, trust, and obedience.
To everyone who read Tales of Mercy, how was it for you?
Sincerely, how did it impact you? I’d love to hear in the comments.
And to my IJGH family and friends — Tales of Mercy is now available on Selar as; "Becoming Her."

It’s the story of a woman who passed through fire, yet was not burned.
As this week begins, I pray you choose healing over hiding.
Your story is not your shame — it may be someone else’s salvation.
