The Press Club MAPOLY felicitates Muslim faithful in this year's celebration of Eid-Al-Adha.

As Muslims all over the world are celebrating Eid, the association has urged the Muslims to reflect on the essence of the celebration and use the occasion to pray for peace and imbibe the virtues of selflessness, sacrifice and tolerance.

May Almighty Allah answer all our prayers.

VIDEO: MAPOLY students staged a peaceful protest over the hike in school fees, starting from the school gate. However, their march unexpectedly led them to encounter the Ogun Deputy Governor's convoy around OPIC in Abeokuta.

The students were demonstrating against the increased fees, which have become a significant burden. During the protest, they encountered the Deputy Governor's convoy, which was en route to the 35 Artillery Brigade Alamala, Abeokuta, to represent Governor Dapo Abidoun at the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration.

According to SUG President Oladele Prosper (aka Chemical), the students were pleased to see the Deputy Governor and wanted to approach her, hoping she would address their concerns about the school fees. However, the situation quickly escalated, and she allegedly ordered her security team to open fire, resulting in a gunshot being fired.

Press Club MAPOLY Pays Courtesy Visit to New Rector

The Press Club, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Rector, Arc. Dr. Jolaoso, on December 9, 2024. The visit marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between the Press Club and the Rector's office.
