You don't need to confess your sins to your Pastor or anyone before Gid can forgive you. Forgiveness is solely based on Christ's sacrifice, your belief in it, and your confession to Him. However, because of the design of man, confessing your sin to others can help relieve you of the burden you feel and restore you to righteousness by the hand of fellowship from other believers.

You can not earn God's forgiveness. When I
decided to find my way back to God, I was
told many things to do and wanted to do
them all because I thought I was deserving of
great punishment before I could be worthy of
forgiveness. But the truth remains that it 's is
God's mercy shown in Christ's free gift on the
cross that is the basis for our forgiveness, and
not anything we do. We only have to accept
this, believe it and walk in it.

Most of us are spiritual tourists. We visit the land of Mercy, take our photos, enjoy the "feel-good" vibes, and then leave.

But God isn't a destination; He is a dwelling place.

Level 1 is about what God can do for you.
Level 3 is about what you can be for God.

The servant works out of duty. The son works out of devotion. One is afraid of the "pink slip," the other is secure in the "price paid."

Stop living like a hired hand in your Father's house. It's time to grow up.

Project 5000 is putting the Gospel into their hands, one comic at a time. What seems small can change everything. Be part of the reason someone encounters Jesus.
