On this, once you are saved through Jesus, there's no condemnation for you, no punishment as a result of your past life, *Romans 8:1.* In fact, you have a new life altogether, that's why "you are born again", *2Conrinthians 5:17.* Like a new born baby, you have a fresh record. When one receives Jesus, He takes away *all* sins and guilt of such person away, ( *Colossians 2:13 NIV:*"He forgave us all our sins"). Such person is set free indeed, *John 8:36.* This topic is important to note, as many believers still think that their struggles in life is as results of their past sins, this by scriptures is incorrect. *Romans 8:2-3* says, _"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh."_ If you are still stuck to the guilt of errors of your past, it's about time you renewed your mind. In Jesus, there's no reserved punishment for errors of the past which He has paid for, but total redemption from all we did. He was punished *(Isaiah 53:5)* for us not to be punished again! He fully paid all the debts that we might not at anytime, be punished again. So let's renew our minds *(Romans 12:2)* and be free from ignorance of the God's package for us in redemption, which is total liberation and not partial liberation.
