I think I’ve been building Varnall long before I realized it.

Most of you know me for design and marketing, I’m actually a certified interior designer.

I’ve always been obsessed with spaces why a certain hotel makes you linger, and how a room quietly shapes how you feel, behave, and spend.

Building my previous company, xplicitmode, allowed me to merge sales, marketing, and strategy.

But the more I worked in real estate and hospitality, the more glaring a specific gap became: we construct remarkable physical places, but rarely build equally remarkable brands, demand systems, and customer experiences around them.

That’s why I created VARNALL.
VARNALL is a digital growth company for real estate and hospitality.

We fuse strategy, creative, growth, and AI to help ambitious properties become the obvious choice.

This is only chapter one.

The long game isn’t just helping grow great projects it’s eventually building, investing in, and owning them ourselves.

This one feels deeply personal.
VARNALL is born.
Shaping what matters.

After watching successful founder brands up close, here’s the pattern I observed with all of them, they rarely only post about themselves,

they repeatedly create content that helps their audience move from point A to point B.

If you are building a founder led personal brand you must understand that your customer doesn’t wake up wanting to hear about you, your company or your wins.

They wake up trying to solve something.

So before your create your next post, ask:
“Would my ideal customer save this if they didn’t know my name?”
If no — you are building an online journal.
If yes — it’s are building an asset.
That’s the difference.

There was a time when just having a website said “we’re serious.”

That time has passed.
Think about the last time you walked into a really good store. Not just any store the kind where something shifts the moment you step in.

The scent hits you. The lighting is just right. The person at the counter doesn’t rush you they just make you feel like you belong there.

You hadn’t bought anything yet.
But you already trusted them.

That’s not accident. That’s design.
Your website should do the same thing.

The moment someone lands on it, something should shift. They should feel like they’ve arrived somewhere intentional. Like the person behind this brand actually knows what they’re doing.
Not because of how it looks. Because of how it feels.

Most websites don’t do that. They just exist. Nice enough. Forgettable. The digital version of a store with fluorescent lighting and a bored receptionist.

The ones that work? You know immediately.
You can’t explain it you just know you’re in the right place.
That’s what we build. 300 brands and counting…

You already know your online presence isn’t where it should be. That discomfort is information.

It means serious people are finding you, forming an opinion in 8 seconds, and moving on without ever giving you a chance to prove yourself.

We build the system that changes that.

Strategy, positioning, credibility the full thing.

So your platform does the convincing before the conversation starts.

Audit is free. Link in bio.

I’ve been reading a fascinating book lately about power, survival, and the psychology of the streets.

The core premise is brutal but true: Your greatest business asset isn’t your capital, your network, or your product.

It is your absolute lack of fear.

Let’s be real. Running a business in Nigeria is inherently chaotic.

We deal with variables that would make a founders from other parts of the world quit within a week.

But I see too many brilliant founders operating from a place of deep anxiety.
- You are terrified of losing the toxic client.
- You are terrified of raising your prices.
- You are terrified of enforcing your own boundaries.

So you shrink. You compromise your brand equity just to keep the peace.

Here is what I’ve learned about the founders who actually build empires in this chaos: they embrace the reality of the dirt.

They stop wishing for perfect conditions.

They operate with a supreme fearlessness because they realize that when you are no longer afraid of losing, you negotiate differently. You build differently.

When you stop operating from fear, people can smell it.

Your clients respect you more. Your team trusts you more.

Can you guess the book i’m currently reading?

This is the most dangerous trap in the development sector: An NGO secures a massive grant, executes incredible work on the ground, but completely abandons their digital storytelling.

They outsource their impact updates to an intern, let their website gather dust, and publish poorly formatted PDF reports.

Then, 18 months later, they wonder why institutional donors are hesitating to fund their next cycle.

Here is the hard truth about the global development sector:
Doing the work is only half the job. Engineering trust is the other half.

For an NGO seeking multi-million-dollar grants, storytelling cannot be left to chance.

Your impact videos, your annual reports, your website, and your daily digital outlook must be ruthlessly aligned.

They must speak the exact same authoritative language. Institutional donors are auditing your digital footprint long before they read your grant proposal.

If your digital presence looks disorganized, they will assume your operations are disorganized too.

This is where a creative infrastructure agency steps in. We don’t just design your reports. We engineer a comprehensive digital strategy that supports your internal team.

We build the high-level creative assets that perfectly align your digital presence with your ambition for your next major raise.

Stop treating your digital storytelling like an afterthought.
It is your most powerful fundraising asset.

NGO Directors and Founders: Is your current digital presence actively securing your next round of funding, or is it quietly costing you? Let’s talk below. 👇🏾

You’re not a web designer if you’re still doing these.

Calling a website “done” when it looks good on your screen
not on the user’s

Picking fonts and colors before understanding what the business actually sells

Copying the same 3 layouts because they worked for someone else last year

Waiting for the client to find what’s broken instead of auditing it yourself

Designing for the portfolio screenshot, not for the person clicking through at midnight trying to make a decision

This is why most websites look beautiful and convert nothing.

Design isn’t decoration.
It’s the system that moves people from curious to convinced.

If you can’t explain how your work made the business more money
you’re not a designer.
You’re a decorator with a Figma account.

Is it possible to get so big you ignore the basics?

I audited the top 5 real estate players in Abuja and yes, apparently it is.

Only ONE had a digital presence that matched what they were selling.

The rest are running Billion Naira projects off flyers and agent networks.

And look — that works.
Until you want diaspora money.
Until your buyer is in London doing due diligence at midnight and your website looks abandoned.

Flyers don’t travel. Agents don’t scale. Your digital presence does.

If you’re still treating your website like a formality,
you’re not ready for the market you say you want.

Short attention spans aren’t just on social media; they’re our new reality, even on websites.

A buzy prospect won’t read your “Mission” and “Vision” statements.

They only care about one thing:
Can you solve their problem, are you competent, and can they trust you?

That’s why your website has a high bounce rate.

You need to connect with their pain better than they understand it. Swipe for the “MMA Airport Test” and see if you’re actually converting.
