The Nigerian maritime law is harmonious in broad outline with the laws of other maritime nations, but it has a unique structure―tied to the Constitution and the Judiciary Act. The book is a leading casebook that reveals the areas of harmony and explores Nigerian law's special features. "Nigeria Maritime Law, Policy & Practice: Cases, Problems and Pathways to International Standards" strives for a generalist's perspective. It aims to tie the maritime law field while providing the fundamental professional tools necessary to the advanced study or practice of Nigerian maritime law.

This book makes a foray into the uncharted areas of the maritime industry. Nigeria is viewed in the comity of nations through the lens of the activities in the sector. Consequently much literature exists in relation to the rot and corruption in the sector. Consideration of the extent of compliance with international standards in the sector by the multinational companies is thus banished to the background. The book fills this gap.

The book explores the cases, peoblems and pathway to international standards with compliance with the Nigerian Maritime law.

In a world where justice often seems more like a privilege than a right, one book emerges as a beacon of hope and empowerment: Chain of Justice.

Dr. Chris has written an excellent, fact filled contemporary mystery. In a world built on silence, one encrypted locket detonates the truth. Please note that the characters and the story are fictional, and any resemblance to actual persons is purely coincidental.

The Scars will never vanish, but if they are remembered rightly, they can become lanterns”, Ola’s story closes not with triumph alone, but with a plea. A plea that the world choose responsibility over silence, justice over comfort, and humility over denial.

One of Africans Best Books of the Year.

Darkness in the Sun writes a message of healing, trust and betrayal. This is Chris Okobah’s gift, to transmute the harrowing into the transcendent. This is a new kind of book beautifully written and may well count as a major work of African literature.

The novel is a reflection of the chaos that reigned in Nigeria. This book is a rousing adventure and a moving exploration of identity and survival. The imagery of the book is tremendous … a mesmerizing glimpse at a polarized society with an unbelievable ability to function… Okobah’s debut is spectacular, and may be just the spark today’s Nigeria needs to undergo its own revival in stability, progress and culture.

Every character has dimension; every description resonates like the flute… Dr. Chris Okobah’s lyrical voice earns him a place on the shelf squarely next to Chinue Achebe and Alex Haley.

Nigeria is on the brink of collapse.

What will you do to save your country?

What happens when a nation’s soul begins to crack?

If you care about justice, leadership, or the future of your country — this book is for you. It’s not just a diagnosis of broken systems — it is a passionate call to courage, awareness, and national renewal.
Dr. Chris brings his signature wit to the question of what’s gone wrong in Nigeria. In this book, he argues that Nigeria is no longer practicing law; it’s running on ignorance. Drawing on years of original research, Dr. Chris conclusively shows that it is our man-made political and economic institutions that underlie economic success. This book will change the way people think about the wealth and poverty of a nation.

The Author blends lived experience with sharp political insight, revealing the slow collapse of a country, the erosion of trust, and the cultural trauma that follows. Yet, in the midst of despair, he offers a message of hope: collapse is not the end. With examples from history, urgent questions for the reader, and bold strategies for change. Nigeria: The Anatomy of a captured state reminds us that rebirth begins not in governments, but in the hearts of those who refuse to give up.

Inside this book, you’ll find a cohesive strategy for action—how to build movement infrastructure, develop leadership, coordinate efforts across local and national levels, and apply pressure where it matters most. It explains how resistance movements succeed. If you like open-minded inquiry, civic solutions, and good-natured teachings, then you’ll be transformed by Dr. Chris Okobah’s balanced discussion.
