There are future shoes we cannot fit, until we grow our feet today.
Tomorrow Will Wait, For Me, investigates what it means for humans to realize they have a choice at life and living. Often, we are under the pressure of trying to figure everything out, all at once but the truth is, our future wants to meet the best version of us and so it waits.
It waits for us to grow, to mature, to have the ability to handle what it will bring our way. There are aspects of our lives we will never be able to handle until we learn from today.
Tomorrow always waits for us to grow into her.
There is an Igbo adage that says ‘Mgbe onye ji tete ụra bụ ụtụtụ ya” which means “whenever a person wakes up is their morning”. This can be said to mean, we start to live out our dreams, and desired lives, the exact moment we start and there is no “lateness” to it, because the future is waiting to meet us as well.
P.S - I tried to make the caption short, I tried.😌
P.P.S - she inspired the miniature collection.❤️
