INSECURITY: Uncertainty or anxiety about oneself. A Lack of self confidence.
We all have suffered insecurity at one point in our lives.And it takes a tenacious soul to overcome it.
Living with insecurity can be nerve cracking..
Sometimes,people tend to judge themselves harshly.
Some tend to embrace self-isolation,hence become antisocial,thereby making it difficult to maintain lasting relationships.
Insecurity varies from person to person but in most cases,it stems from early life experiences.

Last year,a guy tweeted and said he was on a talking-stage with a girl,only to discover the 27 year old was already on her PHD programme and he disconnected immediately.. insecurity.
Another man was on a talking stage with a lady, eventually the lady agreed to visit him and pulled up in a Lexus jeep instead of a Keke he expected.
He disconnected because he felt he was unworthy to date her.. insecurity.
When you are uncertain,fear automatically becomes involved..what could happen as a result of the perceived threat?
Mumzee perceived a threat and she promptly dealt with it the way it suits her.
People feel insecure about their bodies and either hit the gym or go for surgeries.
It's the same case with Mumzee.
People feel insecure intellectually, they decide to go back to school or opt for extra lessons to perform better.
People feel insecure financially and decide to double their hustle or scale their skills.. a success story is usually the resultant effects.
Why lot of folks choose to dwell on Mumzee's action and time,I opt to dwell on the motive/reason that spurred her actions.
If you feel insecure, however you deal with it it's up to you.
But be easy on the narrative you push on Mumzee from your own place of privilege.
Every one has someone they can go all the length for..it doesn't have to make sense to everyone.
If you see someone worth it,go all out of your way and don't mind the nay Sayers.
The fact you won't or can't do something, doesn't makes it weird.
We all can't have the same perspective.
We all can't operate from the same place of privileges.
Live your truth and leave people to live theirs.
