IF OUR UPPER ROOM IS EMPTY, OUR PEWS WILL BE EMPTY ALSO.

YOU CAN NOT USE THE LABOUR OF YOUR FIRST CHILD TO DELIVER YOUR THIRD CHILD. EVERY CHILD DEMANDS HIS OWN LABOUR.

THERE IS NO NEXT LEVEL OF GROWTH THAT WILL NOT REQUIRE NEXT LEVEL OF PRAYER.

1. We require wisdom from above which can be accessed in prayer to sustain church growth.
We can pray for the church to grow but we need to be wise to sustain the growth because through wisdom is a house built and by understanding it is established. Proverbs 24:3-5. We can access this wisdom through prayer because wisdom is profitable to direct. Through wisdom, we know how to sustain the growth of the church. Heavenly Mandate . When they started the church of Acts, the explosion was there which would have died in Chapter 5, in Chapter 6 they received wisdom to separate the altar from the table and the word of God increased. Acts 6:1-7. They got to chapter 16 and they put decrees, rules, and regulations in place to further grow the Church. At every stage they needed wisdom. Ecclesiastes 10:10. Wisdom gave them a new direction, go this way, go that way and the church growth was sustained but it is in prayer that we access this wisdom. James 1:5.

At our various levels of church growth promotion including soul winning, zonal fellowship, and our various churches, we must keep praying for wisdom, direction, Lord how do we advance, how do we ensure that the growth does not deplete. Heavenly Mandate . In the name of Jesus, I decree each of us open access to that wisdom.

2. Prayer remains the biblical strategy for sustaining church growth.

For every woman here who has had two or three experiences in childbirth, you will agree with me that you could not use the labour of your first child to deliver your third child. Every child that will come will take his own toll on you. You have to labour for every child that is born, even if there are twins. You have an interval of ten minutes and another labour commences. Heavenly Mandate . What does that mean? There is no next level of growth that will not require next level of prayer. Stop praying, Church stops growing. The first Church did not stop praying in Chapter 1, they began to pray in Chapter 1. Acts 1:14, 2:1, 3:1, 4:29-33. They were continuously praying, if we don’t stop praying, the Church will not stop growing.

We must continue to pray for word increase to keep the church growing.
Why? The word is the increase factor. People come for the word and when they come they become an attraction for others to come. When they are blessed others are attracted to come. So we must be strategic in our prayer like we did this morning. We are praying for word increase according to Ecclesiastes 5:11. When goods increase, they are increased that eat them. Matthew 24:28. Provide the carcass and the eagles will gather. Psalm 23:2. Make the grass green and they will come to lie down. Some individuals will never leave a church because they are already lying down there. You need to stand up to see afar. When the grass is brown they stand up and in the process, they see another greener pasture but when the grass is green, they lie down and can’t see afar. Heavenly Mandate . Any church that will grow must make the grass green. When the grass is no longer green but turned brown, then the sheep will look for another place. Jeremiah 3:15-16. We also need to be praying for our pastors who will feed the flock with knowledge and understanding until they be fully established. Acts 13:42-44. We pray the people in but we prepare the word for them. Not just telling them what to do but praying for utterance according to 1 Thessalonians 3:1. Let’s keep praying and the church will keep growing. Let’s preserve our Upper Room so our pews will not become empty. That is what they did in the first church, they had the Upper Room, so their pews were always filled. If the Upper Room is empty then the pews will become empty. Everyone watching this morning from all over the world, let’s keep the prayer altars on in our personal times, in our group times, in our cell centres. As we do so, keeping the fire burning will bring in the people to fill the pews.

Rise this morning as we pray. Lift your voice and rekindle the fire inside you.

How to Recycle Old Bags to Grow Ginger at Home for a Bountiful Harvest

1. Prepare the Ginger Rhizomes:

A STUBBORN WOMAN MAKES A MAN 10 TIMES MORE STUBBORN.

Stubborn women fail in their marriages, and even in their relationships with relatives.

Women who lack emotional intelligence and flexibility in dealing with people around them, are the biggest failures in their marriages and their lives. Why?

She enters into an egoistic tug of war with her husband, and prefers the voice of her ego to try to overcome him, and in fact she fails before the ego of her husband and the ego of those who are around her, because men become more stubborn in front of a stubborn wife and stubborn sister, and they become more gentle in front of a submissive woman.

A headstrong woman thinks that she can win while insisting on her opinion, and she can stand in front of any opposition. She forgets that even if she wins by her obstinacy in her opinion and stand, she loses the heart that was loving her and caring for her.

Many narrations and wise proverbs in all the cultures have praised an easy-going, soft, friendly, patient and enduring woman. Even the Messenger (peace and blessings be on him) and the Companions after him, recommended and praised a woman who respects her husband and speaks with softness and wisdom, and in turn he will love her and never leave her.

The woman who will obey her husband and stoop to let the storm pass; she is the wise, rational woman who thrives, and holds the family together. The woman who stands like an unyielding dry stick is the one who breaks, suffering irreparable damage.

The uncompromising woman clings to her opinion. She tries to constantly perpetuate the illusion of her victory: I win and you lose, I am right and you are wrong. Such a woman destroys herself before destroying others. And she lives a life of sorrowful despondency in this world and thereafter.

From my experiences in marital counseling, I found out that mulish women end up in divorce. And bitterly fail in their family and social life. The even end up destroying her own father family and his siblings'

The advice of a bedouin Arab woman to her daughter on the day of her marriage, is considered by all the successful women the best advice for a woman. She said:
"Be his slave......and surely he becomes your imminent slave".

"Men are kind, generous and benevolent, but a stubborn, foolish woman turns them into enemies.

In other words, the stubbornness of a woman makes a man ten times more stubborn than her.

Well, in these days of feminism and female affirmative action, l find that the perceptions young women have about what should be their relationship with their spouses is seriously blighted by ego and impatience. Ladies are not willing to work on their inherent flaws and feel the man should be the one to adjust to their own idiosyncrasies.

I personally think the above tips work and any woman who wants to make a success of her marriage will do well to follow them.
