Therefore, as we celebrate this year’s Maulud Nabiyy today, it is an opportunity to re-dedicate ourselves to the ideals of peaceful co-existence and absolute submission to the will of the Almighty Allah.

Today, August 27th, we mark the 32nd anniversary of the creation of our dear Delta State. Over the past three decades, we have experienced diversity and inclusion, trials and triumphs, growth and stability.

Most significantly, Deltans have come to live as one big, happy family. Our state has continued to forge ahead in all indices of human, physical, and economic development.

I call on all citizens and residents, all government and non-governmental organizations, and all well-meaning Deltans across the nation and the world to join hands and ensure the success of the current administration. Together, we can make Delta State even greater in the years to come.

Your Excellency, you have led a life of illustrious service to the people of Nigeria, and as Deltans, we remain grateful for your effort in ensuring that our dear state, was created in 1991.
