*2 CORINTHIANS 6:15* “And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?”
*KEYWORD:* This year and beyond, let it be your testimony that nothing of darkness clings to you.
We who belong to the family of Christ have absolutely no connection, agreement, or fellowship with works of darkness, for that is what Belial represents. Belial is not just a name; it is a spirit that embodies wickedness, lawlessness, corruption, and rebellion against God. To be in Christ is to be separated, sanctified, and consecrated unto Him. There is no middle ground; no child of God can walk in covenant with Christ and still give room to Belial.
Remember the confrontation in Matthew 12, when the Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out demons by the power of Beelzebub? Their accusation was not only false but absurd. Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, gave an unshakable principle: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?” (Matthew 12:25–26). By this, the Lord made it undeniably clear: there is no fellowship, no partnership, and no overlap between Him and Satan.
But here lies the heart of the matter, dear believer: Can the same be said of you? In the daily details of your life—your dealings, relationships, business, conversations, entertainment, choices, and secret thoughts—can it be said without doubt that you are untouched by the influences of darkness? Or have you, knowingly or unknowingly, opened doors to little compromises that taint your walk with God?
Often, the devil does not begin with glaring temptations. He starts subtly, suggesting a compromise that looks harmless, a relationship that feels innocent, a habit that seems acceptable, or entertainment that looks “normal.” Gradually, such indulgences desensitize your spirit, weaken your convictions, and create cracks for Belial’s influence to creep in. While you may consider it small, Satan never does. He is patient and strategic, weaving his snares carefully until the careless are trapped.
For some, it may even go deeper: alliances with cults, ungodly covenants, occult practices, or willful indulgence in sin under pressure or curiosity. But here is the good news: there is mercy, there is hope, and there is restoration in Christ Jesus. The moment you repent and separate yourself from those entanglements, the Father receives you with open arms, cleanses you by the blood of His Son, and restores you to your rightful place as His beloved.
Beloved, going forward, cultivate a holy hatred for every work of darkness. Do not flirt with compromise. Do not excuse sin. Do not allow Belial a foothold in your life. Be vigilant, for what you tolerate will eventually dominate you. Instead, guard your spirit diligently. Walk in the light of God’s Word, yield to the gentle promptings of the Holy Spirit, and set your heart firmly on purity and holiness.
This year and beyond, let it be your testimony that nothing of darkness clings to you. You are of Christ; His light is your portion, His righteousness your covering, and His life your inheritance. Stand boldly in this truth and walk worthy of your calling. Hallelujah!
*PRAYER:*
Dear Father, I thank You for translating me from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Your dear Son. I declare today that I have no fellowship with the works of darkness. Strengthen me by Your Spirit to walk in holiness, to resist every enticement of Satan, and to remain steadfast in righteousness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

*DEUTERONOMY 13:13* “Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;”
*KEYWORD:* This season, let no trace of Belial find expression in or around you.
Yesterday, we saw clearly that Belial is indeed a spirit, one that influences men to turn away from the Lord and to serve self. It is not merely an ancient term in Scripture but a present reality that still works in our time. Belial is the spirit that blinds men to eternal truth, seduces them into neglecting their Maker, and ensnares them with fleeting pleasures and earthly vanities. It was a matter of grave concern in the days of Moses, and, beloved, it remains so even now.
In our opening scripture, the Lord, through Moses, warned Israel to be on guard against the men of Belial who had risen “from among you,” seeking to seduce the people into following strange gods. Notice this carefully: it wasn’t always outsiders that carried this influence. Some of these men were once within the camp, once aligned with truth, but corrupted by Belial, they became instruments of distraction, deception, and destruction. This is how subtle and insidious this spirit is. It does not always come from afar; sometimes it rises close to home.
Look around today and you will see the same pattern. Belial hides behind many masks. He does not come with horns and pitchforks; he comes clothed in compromise, false light, and deceptive appearances. Through twisted doctrines, diluted gospels, immoral lifestyles, addictions, pride, and the glorification of self, this spirit lures men away from their divine heritage. And in his deception, he even sows discord among his own agents, causing strife, confusion, and rivalry, yet men who are blind still follow them, not knowing they are being dragged into ruin. Truly, this is the height of deception!
The spirit of Belial degrades men, dragging them far beneath their God-ordained nature. It manipulates them into dishonoring their own bodies, despising righteousness, and exchanging the glory of God for shame and corruption. This is why the Scripture admonishes us to be sober and vigilant. Beloved, as children of light, we must sharpen our discernment. Whenever you perceive the traces of this spirit, in teachings, in culture, in entertainment, or even in relationships, do not tolerate it. Shun it immediately. Have nothing to do with it. Do not permit it in your home, in your thoughts, or in your walk with God. Instead, confront it boldly, resist it steadfastly, and cast it out in the name of Jesus.
Glory to God, we are not helpless! The Lord has equipped us with His Spirit and His Word. In Christ Jesus, we carry the authority to break the yoke of Belial and every operation of darkness. No seduction of the enemy can prevail over a believer who is full of the Word, full of the Spirit, and anchored in Christ.
So this season, walk in vigilance. Refuse compromise. Guard your gates (your eyes, ears, and heart). And let no trace of Belial find expression in or around you. You have overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of your testimony. Hallelujah!
*CONFESSION:*
I am a child of light and not of darkness. I refuse the lies of Belial, and I walk in the wisdom, purity, and authority of God’s Spirit. I am sanctified, empowered, and preserved in Christ Jesus. The Word of God rules my heart, my mind, and my body. I walk in victory every day. Hallelujah!

*1 SAMUEL 25:17* “Now therefore know and consider what thou wilt do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for he is such a son of Belial, that a man cannot speak to him.”
*KEYWORD:* Let the Word of God be a mirror to you today. If any seed of pride, rebellion, self-exaltation, or disdain for spiritual authority is at work in you, it is time to repent.
Contrary to what many in our modern world would have us believe, being a son of Belial is not something to rejoice over or to wear as a badge of pride. Sadly, the systems of this world sometimes glorify rebellion, mock holiness, and celebrate a life of lawlessness. Yet, if you carefully search through the scriptures, you will find that every person identified as a son of Belial came to a bitter and shameful end. Why? Because their allegiance was unholy, rooted in Satan, the father of lies.
Having Satan as your guide and master is to embrace a path that is void of wisdom, void of discernment, and void of the fear of God. It is to choose darkness over light, lies over truth, and death over life. Such men, corrupted by the deceiver, spoke without understanding, acted without discretion, and lived without restraint. Their lives were deeply entrenched in folly because they had exchanged the glory of God for the counsel of a fallen spirit.
Pause and think about this: Satan is a created being—one originally ranked lower than man. He was cast out of heaven, stripped of honour, and condemned to eternal destruction. Yet, those who follow him surrender their destinies to one already doomed. Imagine being led by the very creature you were designed to judge! Imagine entrusting your future to one who has no hope of redemption, only eternal torment. The repercussions of such a decision are disastrous, and the end is inevitable.
Some may argue, “I follow no one but myself.” But such words only reveal the subtle deception of Belial. Satan’s own fall began with self-exaltation, when he said in his heart, “I will ascend, I will exalt, I will be like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:13–14). The same spirit is at work in every generation, whispering that man should live for himself, answer to no one, and submit to no authority. But the scripture is clear: there is no middle ground. If God is not your Lord, then Satan surely is. Life is never neutral; it is either Christ or Belial, light or darkness, truth or deception.
Take Nabal as an example. Scripture describes him as a son of Belial. A man who scorned righteousness and despised wisdom. Though his servants testified of David’s kindness, protection, and faithfulness, Nabal mocked, insulted, and repaid good with evil. He shut his heart to reason, rejected sound counsel, and despised divine favor. The result? His destruction came swiftly. Not because mercy was absent, but because he hardened his heart until judgment was inevitable.
Beloved, let the Word of God be a mirror to you today. If any seed of pride, rebellion, self-exaltation, or disdain for spiritual authority is at work in you, it is time to repent. Do not allow the spirit of Belial to corrupt your heart and rob you of your destiny. Choose Christ. Yield your will fully to His Lordship, and let Him be your Shepherd and your Guide. In Him alone is wisdom, safety, and everlasting victory. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER:*
Father, I refuse every influence of Belial in my life. I choose to yield myself completely to Your Spirit and to walk in Your wisdom. Deliver me from the snare of pride and self-exaltation, and let the Lordship of Jesus Christ govern every aspect of my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

*PROVERBS 22:24-25* “Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.”
*KEYWORD:* Anger left unchecked becomes an entry point for satanic manipulation.
Many times, the battles, struggles, or unpleasant experiences we encounter in life are not accidents that happened without cause. Most often, they are the fruits of seeds we planted, knowingly or unknowingly, through our choices, associations, and decisions. Nothing just “happens” in the life of a believer; the results we see are tied, in one way or another, to the doors we opened and the influences we allowed.
Pause for a moment and reflect: are there decisions you once made that looked harmless but today are yielding a bitter harvest? Are there individuals you once permitted into your space who, over time, influenced your values, speech, habits, and thought patterns, yet not for the better? You see, what you tolerate long enough eventually reshapes you, and this is why the Word of God is emphatic about the company you keep.
Our opening scripture gives us wisdom: “Make no friendship with an angry man.” Why? Because anger is not just an attitude, it is a spirit, and it transfers. The Bible further warns us: “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:26–27). Anger left unchecked becomes an entry point for satanic manipulation. It warps discernment, destroys peace, and robs one of spiritual progress.
When you choose to walk closely with an angry person, you are inevitably stepping into his snare. Sooner or later, what never belonged to you will begin to manifest in your own emotions, words, and actions. Suddenly, you find yourself easily provoked, quick to take offence, and reckless with decisions that once required patience and wisdom. This is how Satan works subtly, through corrupt associations. He rarely barges in openly; instead, he disguises his traps in the form of unhealthy relationships.
Beloved, you must refuse this snare. Guard your spirit jealously. Don’t let pity or sentiments tie you to people who constantly dwell in fury, bitterness, or strife. It is not pride to walk away; it is wisdom. The Word has already told us the end of such companionship: destruction. Instead, surround yourself with men and women who carry the fragrance of Christ—those whose words edify, whose actions inspire righteousness, and whose spirits exude peace.
As you do this, you will find your own life becoming lighter, freer, and more fruitful. Remember: your associations are prophetic. They either propel you into your destiny or drain you into destruction. Choose wisely. Shalom!

*PRAYER:*
Heavenly Father, thank You for the light of Your Word that directs my path. I refuse every snare of corrupt association and declare that my heart is preserved in peace. I cut off every influence that does not align with Your Word and I choose to walk in wisdom, love, and truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

*FREED FROM THE ORDINANCES OF MEN*
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2025
PASTOR MARTINS OMONUA

*COLOSSIANS 2:20-22* “Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?”
*KEYWORD:* The pressure men bring to bear on you must never push you into living outside the dictates of Scripture.
When Christ saved you, He brought you out of bo***ge into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Salvation was never meant to be a transfer from one prison into another; it was a full transition into freedom. Yet, sadly, many still allow themselves to be yoked again with man-made ordinances and human traditions that have no place in the true gospel of Christ.
The pressure men bring to bear on you must never push you into living outside the dictates of Scripture. Do not let intimidation or persuasion lure you into exchanging God’s eternal principles for pale and false imitations that masquerade as truth. Such paths may seem spiritual on the surface, but their end is always sorrowful, leaving the soul in bo***ge once again.
Our opening scripture makes it plain: the commandments and doctrines of men, no matter how sacred, “deep,” or religious they may sound, will perish with the using. They cannot withstand the test of eternity. In contrast, the Word of God is living, eternal, and indestructible. As the apostle John declared, “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever” (1 John 2:17).
So the question confronts you directly: which path will you take? that which perishes or that which endures forever? The wise will always choose what lasts. Much of what you face daily falls into these two categories: things that perish and things that endure. With the help of the Holy Spirit, if you can discern which is which, your steps will no longer be uncertain. Your choices will no longer be clouded by confusion. You will walk boldly, knowing God Himself is directing your path.
Beloved, refuse to be judged by men whose opinions are not rooted in the eternal Word. No man has the right to stand as judge and executioner over your life, coercing you into paths of destruction. Anchor your life only on what the Bible says. Break free from the voices that seek to bind you with man’s rules and empty regulations. Stand firm in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free, and you will grow into the true stature and perfection of Christ. Glory to God!
*PRAYER:*
Father, I thank You for the liberty I have in Christ Jesus. I refuse to submit again to the yoke of man-made traditions that do not reflect Your truth. Open my eyes by Your Spirit to discern between what perishes and what endures forever. Keep me rooted in Your eternal Word and anchored in Your will, so that my steps are steady, confident, and pleasing to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2025

*MATTHEW 15:8-9* "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

*KEYWORD: *Doctrines not rooted in Christ rob us of intimacy with Him. They may fill our lips with worship but leave our hearts empty, detached, and unmoved.

We must always be careful that what we listen to men teach or expound upon as doctrine can truly be backed by the unshakable foundation of the Scriptures. Not every “popular” or “ancient” teaching is God’s Word. Sadly, over time, many things that were never God’s instructions to His people have been repeated so often that they sound like truth, and the body of Christ suffers when such errors are swallowed without question.
This is how loopholes are created through which the enemy can sneak in. He thrives in twisting the truth. He convinces men to embrace wrong practices and false standards, all the while assuring them that they are serving Christ. That is why deception runs deep, because those ensnared believe they are walking in obedience, while in reality, they are growing farther from God’s heart.
Why must we guard ourselves so carefully against this? Because doctrines not rooted in Christ rob us of intimacy with Him. They may fill our lips with worship but leave our hearts empty, detached, and unmoved. And God has never been interested in empty worship; He longs for hearts that know Him, love Him, and respond in truth.
For this reason, God calls our attention back to His Word. He reminds us that the Scriptures were not given merely for preachers to interpret on our behalf, but for us to also search, study, and digest personally. Yes, there is a place for the corporate teaching of the Word, but that can never replace the personal hunger and pursuit of God’s truth.
When you take the Bible in your own hands and prayerfully search it, the Spirit Himself teaches you. He opens your eyes to who God truly is and unfolds His principles for living in this world. In that place of encounter, you begin to grow correctly, free from the distortions of men, and you are shaped into maturity.
Personal devotion to the Scriptures also acts as a covering, a blanket of protection that shields you from deception and evil influence. You cannot be easily tossed about with every wind of doctrine if you are deeply rooted in God’s truth. So today, make it your commitment: search the Word daily, and let the Spirit of Truth guide you into all truth. Shalom!
*PRAYER:*
Dear Father, thank You for the gift of Your Word which is truth and life. Help me to discern between the doctrines of men and the truth of Your Spirit. Teach me daily as I study the scriptures, and keep me rooted in Your perfect will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

*FURTHER STUDY:*

*DEUTERONOMY 29:13-15* "That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:"

*KEYWORD:* The Lord of Hosts binds Himself to His people. He makes a pledge not just to you, but to your line, to your family’s future.

The verse above is living proof that God is not a God of the moment alone; He is a God of generations. He thinks ahead. He plans ahead. When He speaks of covenant and promise, He is not only addressing your present needs but also the generations yet unborn that will carry your name. That is the heart of God: a Father whose commitment extends beyond the now into the tomorrows of your children and your children’s children.
Think about other “gods” and idols you have heard of in history: powers that served a people for a season and then abandoned them. There is something chilling in that kind of fickleness: a god who deserts his people when trouble comes shows no real love and no real care. Our God is not like that. The Lord of Hosts binds Himself to His people. He makes a pledge not just to you, but to your line, to your family’s future. He says, “I will be your God,” and by that statement, He stakes His name and His faithfulness on your behalf and on behalf of those who will follow you.
This glorious extension of covenantal love was secured finally and fully through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Because of Calvary, the door is open for anyone, today, to enter into that everlasting relationship with the Almighty—you, your household, and the generations that follow you. God is saying, plainly and tenderly, “I want your name attached to Mine. Come; be Mine, and I will be yours and your children’s.”
Do not treat this as a trivial offer. It is the greatest invitation you will ever receive. If you have not yet taken it, do so now. If you already bear His name, consider those in your family who do not yet know this grace; reach out, speak, and invite. Make it a matter of prayer and action to bring your household into the covenant blessing you now enjoy.
Shall we be counted among His? Will you speak this to your family, call them, pray with them, and ask them to join you in making this commitment? God’s mercy is unending; His covenant is sure. Hallelujah!

*CONFESSION:*
I belong to God, and He belongs to me. His covenant of love covers me and my generations after me. I will never be abandoned, for He is my God forever. Hallelujah!

*MEN GIVEN OVER TO THEIR LUSTS (II)*
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2025
PASTOR MARTINS OMONUA

*ROMANS 1:28-29* "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,"

*KEYWORD:* When men reject the truth of God, Satan feeds them lies.

When men (those who call themselves agnostics or atheists) refuse to acknowledge the very existence of God, they do not realize the grave harm they bring upon themselves by taking that stance. To deny the Creator is not a neutral choice; it is a destructive one. That course of action, choosing not to believe in God, breaks something deep within a man’s spirit and mind. It severs him from the very source of life, wisdom, and morality. And in that vacuum, he accepts the lie that absolutely anything is acceptable.
What else could possibly explain why adults, some even parents, would agree to mutilate the tender ge****ls of young children, pump them full of dangerous hormonal drugs, and then proudly claim it is the child’s “choice”? What else could explain why someone would wake up one morning and decide to begin behaving like a horse, cat, or dog, demanding that society affirm and address them as such? It is depravity at its height, and yet, for those who have refused God, it appears as “freedom.”
But beloved, it is simply the scriptures being fulfilled. When men reject the truth of God, Satan feeds them lies. Deceived by the whisper that their bodies belong to them and that they can do as they please, they give themselves over to uncleanness and all manner of abominations. The result? Behaviors so unnatural, so shameful, that normal men and women recoil in disgust when they behold them.
Are you one of those who think you are “living your best life” while indulging in these dark and dirty acts? Do not be deceived; there is nothing glamorous about destruction. If you are, I urge you today to open the scriptures and see what the end of such a life truly is: eternal separation from God, in hell, with Satan and his angels. And do not be mistaken, that is Satan’s ultimate goal. He hates man with perfect hatred because man was made in the very image of the God who defeated him.
So why choose to follow someone who despises you and at the same time reject the One who loves you, created you, and fashioned you to be holy? Does that sound wise to you? Stop being a hater of God and His Word. Instead, humble yourself, repent, and ask for His mercy. Refuse to be given over to your lust. Say “no” to Satan’s lies and become a candidate assured of heaven.
Today, let the scales fall off your eyes and your heart. Tremble before the Almighty God. Acknowledge Him, and receive His sanctification and redemption so freely given through Christ Jesus. The Lord is still calling, and His arms are wide open. Do not resist Him any longer. Shalom!

*PRAYER:*
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the light of Your Word that delivers me from the lies of Satan. I refuse to be given over to a reprobate mind. Lord, purge me of every evil desire and fill me with Your Spirit. Keep my heart tender, my mind renewed, and my life aligned with Your will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
*FURTHER STUDY:*
ROMANS 1:24-25“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”
EPHESIANS 4:18-19 “Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”
