Because I want to be a daring filmmaker in a country where it’s difficult for independent voices to survive, I’ve refused to wait for permission.

I’ve searched for every opportunity to grow. I’ve travelled. I’ve knocked on doors. I’ve sought collaborations. I’ve faced rejection after rejection, but every “no” only reminded me why I started.

So I didn’t stop.

And I’m here again.

Not because the journey has been easy, but because I believe African stories deserve to be told with courage, honesty, and excellence.

I’m here to change the scene of film not tomorrow, but starting today.
