Presidency Announces Renewed Hope National Media Tour To Showcase Federal Projects
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has officially announced the commencement of the Renewed Hope National Media Tour, aimed at highlighting key projects executed by the Federal Government across the country.
Speaking during a press briefing held in Abuja on Monday, April 27, 2026, Onanuga disclosed that the media tour will begin with a focus on the North-West region, where several ongoing and completed projects will be showcased to journalists and stakeholders.
The briefing featured key government officials, including Engr. Finbarr Zirra, Director of Rail Development at the Federal Ministry of Transportation, and Mr. Tunde Rahman, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Special Duties, who also doubles as Director of Communications for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.
According to Onanuga, the initiative is part of efforts by the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure transparency, accountability, and public awareness of infrastructure and development strides under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He emphasized that the tour would provide firsthand access for media practitioners to assess projects, interact with implementing agencies, and report accurately on government performance.
The Renewed Hope National Media Tour is expected to cover multiple sectors, including transportation, energy, and housing, as the government intensifies efforts to communicate its achievements to Nigerians.
