THE SIGNIFICANCE OF HIS RESURRECTION.
1. Corinthians 15:12-20.
It is worthy of note that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation base of the Christian faith. There would be no power, no hope, and no future for the Christian faith if Christ had not risen from the dead .
Even though people believed that Jesus died, but the sole truth that leads to the transformation of lives is that He never remained in the grave. He rose after three days.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just a fairy tale nor any other story in a book, it is a living reality with powerful significance and benefits for every believer.
Below are the ten benefits and important of Christ resurrection.

1). The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is The Proof That He is The Son of God. Romas 1:3-4.
Every other religion founders died, buried and they remained there. Jesus' burial and resurrection with power, proof that He is the true Son of God. This is the reason why we can trust in His word and depend on His promises.

2). By His Resurrection, We Have The Boldness to Witness. Acts 4:33.
The early apostles preached with absolute boldness because they were aware of His resurrection and that He was alive. so they could witness anywhere they went and whoever they met.

3). It Is By His Resurrection That We Are Justified. Romas 4:25.
Jesus took our sins, our offenses and became guilty for our wrongs, this led to His death, but His resurrection justifies us. This is the proof that the price was fully paid for our sins, we have been forgiven and declared righteous before God.

4). We Have Assurance That Christ Is Interceding For Us. Hebrews 7:25-28.
The resurrection of Jesus assured us that He is alive, seated on the throne high above the heavens and He is Interceding for us. This gives us confidence that we are not alone.

5). We Have Victory Over Death By His Resurrection. 1 Corinthians 15:55-57.
One of the greatest fear of humanity is death, but Jesus Christ have conquered it, we have victory also over death by his resurrection.

6). The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ Confirmed And Declared His Power And Authority. Matthew 28:18.
By His resurrection, He have all power in heaven and on earth. This means that no power is greater than Him, and by extension He has also given us the power to live a victorious life on earth.

7). His Resurrection Have Guarantees Our Own Resurrection. 1 Corinthians 15:20-22.
Through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, there is an assurance that every Christian who died in Christ will rise again. Jesus is the first fruit to die and resurrected, other believers who died will also rise again to live eternal life.

8). The Resurrection of Jesus Christ Gives Us The Power To Live a New Life. Romas 6:4.
The Resurrection of Christ guarantees us the newness of life, it helps us to live above sin and iniquity, a transformed life with purity and purpose.

9). The Resurrection Of Christ Gave Us a Living Hope. 1 Peter 1:3.
We have a living hope by His Resurrection. this means that every good thing dead in our lives and around us or whatever we desire that is lacking will surely comes back to life by His resurrection power. There is always hope for tomorrow.

10). The Resurrection Of Jesus Christ Confirmed The True Authenticity Of The Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:14.
His resurrection confirms the reality of the true gospel. It validate our believe, without resurrection, our faith would be useless. It also gives power to the message we preach.

The scientist by name Aristotle defined man as a social being. This means that human life is characterised by social interaction, relationships, and collective action rather than isolated existence. Man cannot trully exist independently without one form of help or assistant from another man. Relationship and interaction is vital for effective and purposeful living.

When God created man in the beginning, he was the only being that was different from every other animals. There was no species that he could talk to, relate with as himself, and God saw that man cannot exist in isolation, he needs a like mind being to interact with, share ideas, communicate and have a meaningful life with. The major reason God created Eve for Adam was first relationship and companionship for a purposeful living before thinking of procreation and multiplication.

There is a purpose for every friendship we enter into, there must be some beneficial elements we seek to achieve, You are either benefiting or losing in any relationship. I can tell the kind of life you will live and where you will end by the kind of people you have as your friends. There's an adage that says show me your friends and I will tell you who you are. A friend has a way of influencing you positively or negatively, you can never remain neutral. Choose your friends purposefully.
Let's talk about Godly friendship and how it affect and shape our lives.

WHAT IS GODLY FRIENDSHIP?

Godly friendship can be referred to as a relationship that has it background in the love of God, guided by the word of God for the purpose of mutual spiritual growth and impactful living.

CHARACTERISTICS OF GODLY FRIENDSHIP

A) IT IS ROOTED IN LOVE. (Agape) 1 provs 17:17.
A true friendship must have a reflection of Christ like love, it must be selfless, patient, sacrificial. A Godly friendship should be loyal at all times, either in good times or bad times.
(1sam. 18-20).

B) HELPS BUILD SPIRITUAL GROWTH. prov. 27:17.
A Godly friend helps to build up spiritually, sharpens, challenges and strengthens your work with God. Your friends should be able to correct you when you are wrong, encourage you when you are doing well. You should be accountable to one another. It is better to walk alone in the destiny of life than to have bad friends around. (Dr. Paul Enenche). Love is a commandement by God, but friendship is a matter of choice and it must be done intentionally.

C) A GODLY FRIENDSHIP ENCOURAGES RIGHTEOUS LIVING: (1cor. 15:33). You must have a friend who should be able to draw you closer to God not sin. When you have a friend who always talk you away from prayers, studying your Bible, from integrity and righteous living, it is not Godly.

D) A GODLY FRIENDSHIP SHOULD BE TRUTHFUL AND HONEST TO ONE ANOTHER. (Prov. 27:6). Friendship that is Godly should be able to tell themselves the truth even when it's not convenient or comfortable.

e) A Godly friendship should encourage peace and unity. (matt 5:9, Eph 4:3.)
make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit. Let your presence brings peace to any situation you found yourself.
