BESPOKE SHOES; are shoes made uniquely for a particular customer by the cordwainer.
The measurement of the feet are taken to create a last for each feet.

The customer then fits the faux pair, made in an inexpensive leather and the cordwainer checks for adjustments. If any, the last will be adjusted before the actual bespoke shoes are then made.
With this, the customer can order more pairs of shoes in the future without going through measurements and fittings.

These are two terms often used when talking about the surface of a product.
The main difference is in their 'sheen'. Gloss surface has a high sheen while matte surface do not.

Surfaces with matte are resistant to dirts and fingerprints while surfaces with gloss are highly attractive to dirts and fingerprints.

Despite the glossy nail trend, many women prefer a matte finish to their nails.
