I say I should tell you that you can prepare egg sauce without the presence of tomatoes at all.

This egg sauce was an emergency one, I prepare to say emergency because it was a last minute thought while I was thinking of something quick to make for dinner sometime last week, I had yam, I needed to make something to pair it with.

I had other ingredients except for tomatoes. I had to improvise using the different kinds of peppers 🫑 🌶️ I had in the fridge, I had Red, Green and Yellow bell peppers and 2 shombo peppers, i blended and fried on low heat to make it look like I was using tomatoes. I also added 3 bulbs of onions for emphasis, what’s a sauce without onions 🤷🏻‍♀️

It came out perfect. You should try it too.

There’s this European store in the town I live here in England, the last time I bought Okra that wasn’t up to this quantity, I was charged £8.70, I was so furious, I promised myself never to go back there because what in the name of expensive is that?

Today, I decided to go back there again to buy okra again, cos man must chop, now another person attended to me, someone different from the person who attended to me the other day, this okra here cost just £5.10.

I began to wonder why it was so less expensive compared to the last time.

I just realized they haven’t been honest with the way they weigh items on their scale. They just drop the item on the scale, punch in what they deem fit and won’t show you the gram or kg as shown on the scale, they’ll just give you a price. Buy or not, the choice is yours.

Na so them tell me say one small pawpaw na £10, the way I asked the attendant to take it out eeeh😂

Dear Chimmy,

Let me start by telling you how incredibly proud I am of you. Girl, you are amazing! Over the last few years, I have watched you rewrite your story page after page. And looking back now, I can say you’ve come a long way from where you used to be.
I still recall how a couple of years ago, you cried your eyes out on your birthday because you felt like a failure. Like your life wasn’t going anywhere, but through those tears, the fighter in you was determined to make something out of the mess.
Now, look who is excited about her birthday again. Hahaha.
This past year has been a blessing. You said yes to numerous new opportunities, embarked on some new journeys, and met some truly amazing people in the process. You walked through doors you wouldn’t have dared to knock on a few years ago.

Chi, I am happy that you’re finally beginning to see your potential. For years, you had people tell you about how much potential they saw in you. But you never really saw it the way they did. You held yourself back for so long because you felt you didn’t have the opportunity to show it.

I do hope you always remember to hold your head up high, stay true to yourself no matter what, and never let the world rob you of that beautiful smile. And on days when you feel discouraged, look up to God because He is not done writing this beautiful story that is your life. He is still writing the best part of your story.
