This is Shenanigan. A misplacement of priority that reflects either the cluelessness or unseriousness of the works minister. Lokoja-Lagos and Loloja-Benin/Delta roads are the all-time most deplorable; hence, they have turned into a den of bandits and kidnappers. 47km out of 700km at what cost? What's the total cost of the 700-kilometer road project and the time frame for its completion? Why not run rail lines from Lagos to Maiduguri, Rivers to Sokoto, Abia to Ogun, etc.?

The coastal project is fine, but is it at the top of the nation's list of scale of preference?
