NATIONAL: A Magistrate Court has ordered a woman identified as Jennifer to pay ₦450,000 in damages after she allegedly collected transport fare from a man, Emmanuel, but failed to honor the arrangement to visit him.
According to the case presented before the court, Jennifer received ₦30,000 from Emmanuel as transportation support but did not show up as agreed. The court ruled that her actions amounted to a breach of understanding and ordered her to refund the money with additional damages, bringing the total to ₦450,000.
