The Real Work After Monetization 👇

A lot of people think that once Facebook approves their content monetization, the journey is complete. But let me tell you the truth: accepting monetization is not the real work — setting up your payout correctly is where the real work begins.

Why is payout setup so important?

Because monetization without payout is like a tap without a pipe. You may have water, but there’s no way to collect it. That’s why so many people struggle — they are monetized but can’t receive a single kobo.

Mistakes people make during payout setup

1. Guessing details they don’t understand
Many creators rush the process, filling in details they’re not sure about. This is risky because one wrong detail can block your payout.

2. Acting “too wise” or stingy
Some people don’t want to seek help. They try to do it all by themselves, and later they regret it when it becomes too hard to fix.

3. Leaving it halfway
I’ve seen creators who started payout setup but stopped midway because they were confused. The problem is, Facebook may lock that stage and it becomes very difficult to solve later.

What you should do instead

✅ Take payout seriously – It’s the bridge between your hard work and your reward.
✅ Don’t guess – If you don’t understand a step, ask questions or learn from someone who knows.
✅ Prepare your documents – Have your TIN, bank account details, Swift/BIC, and legal name ready before starting.
✅ Do it early – Don’t wait until it’s too late. Like the proverb says: “Look for the black goat while it’s still daytime.”

The Bigger Picture

Monetization is what makes celebrities look like they are ahead of you. It’s not just about posting content — it’s about turning views into value. The day you touch the money, you’ll understand the difference.

So don’t use your opportunity to “catch cruise.” Don’t waste your chance because of carelessness. Set up your payout correctly and enjoy the reward of your work.

Final Word

The choice is yours:

Get it right now and enjoy smooth payouts.

Or play with it now and regret later when it becomes complicated.

At the end of the day, the question remains: Who really loses?

Unity Is Key to Kogi’s Growth, Bello Tells Former Councillors
…Reject Politics of Bitterness, Embrace Collective Progress…

Former Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Yahaya Bello, CON, has charged former councillors from Idah Federal Constituency comprising Ibaji, Idah, Igalamela-Odolu, and Ofu Local Government Areas to continue to work for the collective interest of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and to give their unalloyed support to the government at both the state and national levels.

Bello gave this charge on Sunday while receiving in audience the former councillors, who were led by the member representing Idah Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. David Idris Zachariah, at his Asokoro residence in Abuja.
The former governor reminded the delegation of the deep-rooted unity between the Ebira, Okun and Igala people, stressing that such historical ties must never be undermined by the divisive antics of those who play politics of self-interest and personal aggrandizement. According to him, the political structure of Kogi State makes it impossible for any senatorial district to unilaterally produce a governor without building alliances with the others. He therefore urged the people to reject politics of ethnicity, bitterness, and selfishness, describing them as destructive to progress and development.

While commending the former councillors for their loyalty to the APC, as well as for their support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Bello encouraged them to remain steadfast and resolute in their commitment. He emphasized that unity, cooperation, and shared vision remain the pillars for sustainable growth and political stability in Kogi State.

In response to the concerns raised by the delegation, Bello noted that their demands serve as important reminders to the current administration to deliver on its campaign promises and consolidate the development strides already being made across the state. He added that the reform policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, though initially challenging, are now producing tangible results. According to him, the nation’s economy is beginning to record positive indices, which is reflected in the gradual reduction of food prices and other commodities. He equally praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his efforts in delivering good governance, pledging that with continued public support, his administration will achieve even greater milestones.

The former governor further expressed gratitude to the people of Idah Federal Constituency for their steadfastness and hailed Hon. David Idris Zachariah for his inclusive and purposeful style of leadership. Bello called on every group and stakeholder who shares the vision of strengthening the APC in Kogi State to join hands and contribute their quota for the greater good of the party and the people.
Earlier in his remarks, Hon. David Idris Zachariah, who led the delegation, explained that the visit was aimed at interfacing with the former governor and discussing the political way forward for Idah Federal Constituency. Reflecting on the outcome of the 2023 elections, he said the people have realized that sustainable development in the state requires aligning with the government’s agenda and policies. He assured that the people of Idah Federal Constituency are prepared to mobilize themselves in support of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as the state marches towards the 2027 general elections.

Out of the 41 former councillors in the constituency, 38 were present at the meeting, alongside other critical stakeholders who also pledged their commitment to strengthening the APC family and ensuring unity of purpose ahead of future elections.
