I watched an interview with the Chairman, Sahad Stores, Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa and it was really revealing and eye opening. He amongst other things had these to say about his businesses:

He has never taken a bank loan.

He doesn’t rent locations for his businesses, all the locations where his businesses are situated are owned by him.

He was forced to abandon closing his shops during every prayer time.

He pays all his staff a daily token and offers free meal to them everyday throughout Ramadan fasting.

He pays yearly bonus to all his staff.

He answers all phone calls and said whoever has his phone number should feel free to give it to whoever asks.

He’s got an open door policy, he’s always accessible to whoever wants to meet with him.

He’s got 3 branches in Kano, 1 in Dutse, 2 in Abuja, Kaduna and Nassarawa States ready for opening, Bauchi under construction.

He’s built a hospital in Abuja as big as Murtala Mohammed Hospital in Kano, it will soon be opened.

He’s married to 4 wives and have 19 children.

He doesn’t carry out adverts on his businesses, claiming people’s patronage is already overwhelming him.

He relies on turnover, not high prices.

He is constantly increasing salaries of his staff.

He closes his businesses for some days once every year to take stock of profits and pay the required Islamic Zakat (alms tax).

Naja Mohammed, wacce ita ce kwamishiniyar kasa a hukumar ‘yan sanda, PSC, ta ce kalubalen da Najeriya ke fuskanta na bukatar ta ci gaba da fafutukar ganin an samar da kasa mai inganci.

“Wasikar focewa daga jam’iyyar APC k**ar yadda sashe na 9.5 (i) na kundin tsarin mulkin jam’iyyar APC ya samar, na rubuto muku ne domin in sanar da ku cewa na fice daga jam’iyyar APC,” k**ar yadda wasikar ta bayyana.

“Ina da wannan wasiƙar kuma na sanar da ku murabus di na a matsayin Darakta na Hukumar Kamfen ɗin Shugaban Ƙasa na APC. Babban abin alfahari ne yin aiki tare da ku don ba da gudummawa don gina al'ummar mu mai daraja.

“Duk da haka, da dama daga cikin abubuwan da su ka faru a baya-bayan nan a fagen siyasa da dimokuradiyyar kasar, sun sa ba zan iya ci gaba da shiga harkokin siyasar jam’iyya ba. Kalubalen da Najeriya ke fuskanta a yau na bukatar in ci gaba da fafutukar ganin an samar da ingantacciyar kasa da lamiri mai kyau yayin da na ke ci gaba da kasancewa da cikakken biyayya ga kasata Najeriya.

Jami’an hukumar tsaro ta farin kaya, SSS sun mamaye hedikwatar babban bankin Najeriya, CBN inda s**a kwace ofishin gwamnan babban bankin kasar Godwin Emefiele.

Jaridar DAILY NIGERIAN ta rawaito cewa a kwai wata jiƙaƙƙiya tsakanin jami’an SSS da Emefiele kan zargin tallafawa ta’addanci.

A baya dai hukumar ta SSS ta nemi kotu ta bata izinin k**a Emefiele amma ya fice daga kasar domin hutun shekara da zai kare a gobe 17 ga watan Janairu.

THIS IS WHAT THE NEW ELECTORAL LAW SAYS ON OUR NEXT ELECTIONS*:

1. No manual accreditation.

2. No use of incident forms.

3. All accreditation is electronic.

4. Accreditation is Bimodal meaning facial recognition and finger printing.

5. No pre-election cases after conclusion of Elections..

6. No election cases after swearing into office of the winner.

7. All results must be uploaded to INEC official website at the polling units before taking it to ward, constituency, LGA or state collation centers.

8. If the number of votes cast is more than the accredited voters the polling unit result is cancelled.

9. No more agreement between parties to share the remaining ballot papers that were not used.

10. No more massive thump printing and stuffing of ballot boxes. If you like go and steal ballot boxes you are wasting your time. You cannot change the result.

The people's votes are counting now. If you didn't serve the people well when in public office or you are not popular in your political locality, it is advisable to save your money because they will collect your money and vote against you.

End of ballots snatching has come to stay in Nigeria. With the amendment of Nigeria Electoral Act, our votes now counts.
