Silvercloud Media Appoints Nelson Odo as CEO/MD

Silvercloud Media Limited has announced Odo Nelson Jude’s appointment as its new Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director.

The company Board of Directors and shareholders on Wednesday 16th October 2024 approved the appointment of Mr Odo Nelson Jude as the new CEO/MD of the company which takes effect immediately as he officially assumed office to steer the leadership of the company as the Managing Director.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) in History and International Studies from the prestigious University of Benin (UNIBEN ) where he held numerous leadership positions building and equipping himself with the right leadership skills.

Prior to his appointment as the Managing Director of Silvercloud Media Limited, he had engaged in so many media activities that gave him lots of background knowledge on the Media sector as he started volunteering for broadcasting and journalism dating back to his high school days.
Reacting to his appointment, he said that he pledge to push boundaries, innovate, and elevate the media industry standards in the mission to ensure that Silvercloud Media remains at the forefront of the ever-evolving media landscape.

Nelson also commended the former Managing Director/CEO of the company Mr Matthew Chukwuebuka Aroh for his remarkable achievements and contributions to Silvercloud Media’s growth which the legacy serves as a solid foundation for the future success of the company.

The company’s team, shareholders, Board of Directors and well-wishers congratulate Mr Odo Nelson Jude on this gigantic appointment and are confident he will take Silvercloud Media Limited to greater heights.

Empowering Nigeria: Dr. Adeleke's $2 Billion Power Project Ignites Hope Despite facing approval challenges

Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, Davido's father, is making waves with his $2 billion power project in Nigeria. The project, a 1,250-megawatt power plant, is set to be Nigeria's largest and will provide about 15% of the country's electricity needs

The Journey to Approval

Dr. Adeleke faced significant challenges while seeking approval for the project. He recounted how a government official initially denied his permit, citing environmental reasons, and even declared the project "doomed to fail". However, Adeleke's determination and faith ultimately led to the project's approval.

Project Details

The power plant, scheduled for completion in January 2025, will be a major boost to Nigeria's energy sector. With Chinese engineering companies on board, the project is valued at ₦3.418 trillion.

This project is a significant step towards addressing Nigeria's energy needs, and Dr. Adeleke's perseverance is truly inspiring.
