ADC Anambra East LGA Executives & Ward Chairmen Meeting Today

Today, the Anambra East LGA ADC, under the leadership of Hon. Beluchukwu, convened a strategic meeting with all ward chairmen and local government executives. The session focused on strengthening party structures, grassroots mobilization, and preparations for the upcoming elections.

The meeting was also graced by Hon. Chinedu Idigo, a respected stakeholder of our great party, whose presence and contributions added great value to the deliberations.

We equally appreciate the active participation of our Ward Chairmen, especially Engr. Victor Mozie Okanga, Chairman of Nando Ward 3, whose steadfast leadership at the grassroots continues to inspire confidence and unity within the party.

Special recognition goes to Comrade Chukwuebuka Chibuzor(Alusiego General), the Anambra East Local Government Youth Leader, hailing from Nando Ward 3. Widely regarded as an influential figure in Nando and Anambra East in general, his dedication, innovative ideas, and commitment to youth engagement have been instrumental in advancing ADC’s mission across the local government.

Key highlights from the meeting include:

JCN Meets Dunukofia Royal Fathers with Deputy Geoffrey Ndubuisi Nwobu, Seeks Partnership for a Greater Anambra

Dunukofia, Anambra State — The governorship campaign of Mr. John Chuma Nwosu (JCN), candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), gathered fresh momentum yesterday as he, alongside his running mate, Dr. Geoffrey Ndubuisi Nwobu, paid a strategic visit to the traditional rulers of Dunukofia Local Government Area.

The high-level dialogue took place at the majestic palace of HRM Igwe Dr. Robert Chukwudum Eze (Okofia VI), Igwe of Dunukofia, where JCN and Dr. Nwobu were warmly received by the monarch and other royal fathers from the six communities of the council area.

In his remarks, JCN commended the traditional institution for its stabilizing role in society and pledged to work closely with them to deliver inclusive governance if elected as governor. He outlined his vision for a “Greater Anambra” built on security, youth empowerment, infrastructure renewal, and rural development.

“Our royal fathers are custodians of our culture, heritage and peace,” JCN said. “Partnering with them will help us deploy people-centered policies and ptojects that respect our culture and meet community needs.”

The royal fathers, led by Igwe Robert Eze, applauded JCN’s visit and assured him of their prayers and goodwill. They urged him to remain focused on issues that will bring lasting peace and progress to Anambra State.

The meeting, which ended on a hopeful note, underscored the importance of unity and mutual respect between government and traditional institutions in transforming Anambra’s grassroots communities.

With this engagement, JCN’s campaign — strengthened by the presence of his deputy, Dr. Geoffrey Ndubuisi Nwobu — continues to deepen its reach across the state, rallying leaders and citizens behind a vision of service, peace, and sustainable growth.

ADC Kicks Off Anambra Governorship Campaign with Unstoppable Energy!

On Friday, August 8th, 2025, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) took over Onitsha, the bustling commercial heart of Anambra, with an electrifying campaign launch that set the tone for a historic election year.

Supporters from all 21 Local Government Areas converged at All Saints Cathedral Field, braving the weather with unshakable enthusiasm. Rain or shine, the spirit of ADC shone brightly as the crowd waved flags, sang, and danced—showing the strength of the movement sweeping across Anambra.

Media crews were on hand, capturing every moment of the vibrant rally and sharing it live with thousands of eager viewers.

The event was energized by stirring remarks from Hon. Ben-Chuks Nwosu, former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly and Chief of Staff to the John Chuma Nwosu Campaign Council. His speech inspired hope and determination among attendees.

A highlight of the day was when Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu, ADC Founder and former National Chairman, representing Senator David Mark, proudly presented campaign flags to the party’s star candidates:
